I remember being very little and going to the doctor. I don't remember why I had to go. My mom was in the room and I had to lay on the doctor's table thing with my shorts down and the doctor touched me to examined my vagina. I remember wondering why my mom was letting him do this. It felt so I odd and I was so uncomfortable. The only time I ever have someone examine my vagina was last year for a pap smear. I don't remember having my breast examined either before. I do remember the doctor using the stethoscope and he had to go under my shirt when I was younger (bra wearing age).Another time me and a childhood friend were literally in the living room in front of one (or both) of my parents, but we had a blanket over use and the friend ask ( I don't remember her exact words) if I would give her oral. I said no, but she could do it to me. I must have been about 8 or at least elementary school age and she was older 10 or 11 maybe. The tv was on and I then my folks were ignoring us. I remember seeing her years later and being so embarrassed and ashamed. I couldn't look her in the eye. I felt like everyone knew what happened. I wondered how a kid knew about oral and have the courage to ask unless maybe she had been molested. Could that be a possibility? Was I taken advantage of or is this just something curious kids do?I've never told anyone about either of these experiences.

Was I Molested as a Child??

It's so hard to say with the small scraps of memory that tend to be all we retain from childhood. You could have had a vaginal examination for all sorts of reasons. And curious kids do play sex games, without it's being a heavy thing, just like they play other games. I think a lot of kids learn a bit about things like oral at a much younger age nowadays because older kids learn about it from internet porn and pass the knowledge down, so I don't think it has to have come from experience.

I don't know why I would have needed a vaginal exam.... I don't know; it seemed weird to me.
And no one had internet back then.

Possibly as a result of an infection? I don't suppose you can ask your mother about it?

Ughhh...that's not an option. Even if I could ask her she probably doesn't remember.
