Well I'm 29 years now and have had a tight and quite long foreskin(a little more than half an inch)Only of recently I started the stretching exercise and as of now I am able to pull back the foreskin when flaccid.I recently visited a urologist to ask if I require circumcision. He said no and also told me that no one can pull back the foreskin when erect. But as I have been reading up, the foreskin is supposed to go back enough for the penis head to be completely visible which isn't the case with me.Here's the deal.I am able to pull back the foreskin when flaccid but not completely back as the foreskin gets clumped and stuck and my penis head bends. Then it becomes a little difficult for me to get the foreskin back to normal. I have to use both thumbs and index fingers to push it back to normal. Also if I try to pull back the foreskin when erect, it hurts a lot.I am confused as to why is this happening.Do I need to continue doing the stretching exercises especially when erect?OR I should stop because I have a short frenulum it will keep hurting and probably the frenulum will tear?I went through the thread in the archive which was started by lance. And what I have understood is that even the frenulum can stretch like the foreskin over time. What should I do?

29 years old Tight Foreskin, Short Frenulum

Welcome to A2A, Jaxx89.The frenulum is much harder to stretch than the foreskin, though it is sometimes reported to be done. When it's too short ('frenulum breve') a partial cutting under local anaesthetic can lengthen it. Sometimes people find this happening naturally by tearing during first sex ('snapping the banjo string'), but this is painful.Frenulum breve isn't talked about much, but it's quite common in some ethnic groups, apparently.

Thanks for the reply.I really don't want to get the frenulum removed. If I'm not mistaken most of the pleasurable feeling is there because of it.

You might be confusing the frenulum with the foreskin. The frenulum's main job is pulling the foreskin back over the glans when the erection subsides. It has nerve endings but I doubt it would be responsible for most of the pleasurable feeling. The frenulum need not be removed.
