I'm 18 years old and uncircumsised, I recently lost my virginity but there were some problems we encountered. Growing up I never learned about the importance of pulling you're foreskin back to clean etc. well my girlfriend performed oral on me(my first time) and it was extremely uncomfortable for me and I began bleeding from my penis, I think it was the small "string" of flesh attaching the foreskin to the penis? Regardless it was a terrifying experience, I'm able to have sex with no pain at all with a condom on but receiving oral and unprotected sex still hurts, does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Uncircumsised problems

Welcome to A2A, 8th_hokage. Your post suggests two possible causes of your problem, and more information is needed to tell which it is:
-
Does the foreskin pull back easily, both when you are soft and when you are hard? If it does not, the solution is stretching exercises each day, which will slowly grow the skin and make it looser. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis
-
Or it might be that that 'string' of flesh (the frenulum) is too short. That is called 'frenulum breve' and does make sex painful. It can be corrected with minor surgery (under local anaesthetic). Unfortunately the frenulum doesn't respond much to stretching exercises. If not treated it can tear during sex (sometimes referred to as 'snapping your banjo string'), which often relieves the problem, but not always.

@Ineligible the skin pulls back easily enough when soft but once I get hard I can only pull it back about half way down the head before it gets tight. i really hope my frenulum isn't the problem, that sounds terrifying

Some stretching exercises will certainly help with the foreskin. Stretch it sideways gently--you don't want to tear it-- several times once or (better) twice a day. Be gentle but do it regularly and you will find it gradually gets looser and in a couple of months it will be fine.
When you are erect the frenulum shouldn't pull the head down: if it does, that would indicate frenulum breve. It shouldn't be terrifying though--all it needs is a doctor who understands the issue. Strangely, it's not one that is well recognised in the West.

By pulling the head down do you mean my penis would actually be bent? If so then that's not the problem(phew) thankyou so much! In going to start attempting the stretching techniques and hopefully all works out

I didn't mean the penis shaft would be bent. It would be more like in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Frenulumbreve.jpg , though not necessarily quite as extreme.
