Foreskin

@addict It;s a shame that doctors (or dad's) don't tell and teach young uncircumcised guys about the need to stretch the foreskin to allow for proper hygiene. You might want to read through this thread. There is lots of support and instruction:http://forums.afraidtoask.com/topic/28576/20-years-old-never-pulled-foreskin-back-before

As a teen I was taught to pull my foreskin back to clean it I still do now keeping your tool clean is important

@tigger4722 Welcome to A2A and thanks for your input. For some reason, some parents feel embarrass to tell their boys about these kinds of things. They figure they will learn it themselves like they did.. Common action with your kids about their body, the changes that will happen and how to deal with puberty would be extremely helpful and productive. Communication is key. If your parents don't explain this stuff, sit them down and ask them to explain it to you.. Communication is the best route..

Things like this as in personal hygiene should be covered in sex ed in school or it's down to parents from a young age to tell boys while in bath to clean under the skin as in pull it back guess times have changed.

@Roc that would be great, but awkward especially with girls in our class

@addict I had open communication with both of my kids (One boy and One girl) I thought it was going to awkward, but it really wasn't. I gave them both the opportunity to ask me "Any" question without judgement in private if they were too embarrassed to ask in front of their sibling and I would honestly answer it. Lets just say they asked some really great questions and I told them the truth. They asked Questions from how do their private parts compare to everyone else's to how do you masturbate, to what does it feel like to have sex. It was really good for them and me. I guess some parents are too afraid to talk to their kids openly, I would rather them ask me the question and get the answer from me rather than get some bullshit answer from one of their inexperienced friends. Just my logic.
