Hello, I need some help. Several weeks ago I decided to start a new stage of my life, I decided to quit drinking at all. I understood that it is a serious problem for my health, my budget, my family, and for people, I love. So, of course, it is a difficult way, and I realized that I am weak and fell depressed. I found several sites and some centers to fight with the addictions, I can say that only several of them can be useful ( I liked Addiction Resource). There are a lot of facts and suggests but I can't perceive this information for all the 100 %. I need several words from an alive person with the same experience.
Thank you!

@jo20 Welcome to A2A. I would recommend you check out Alcoholics Anonymous, The have a good track record.
The internet is fine for finding answers to a question, but it does not provide you the support that you need and so the bottle continues to be your means of support, when what you need is human support, particularly from someone who has been there. You have taken a good first step in admitting that you have a problem. I have not personally walked the walk ahead of you, but I understand there can be many distractions. We here on A2A will support you, but as you have said, you need a real live person as well.
