our manners?
I was in the grocery the other day and they were sampling food. There was a young mother and child who were offered samples. The child reached for one of the samples and was prompted by his mother, "What do you say?" The child responded, "Please." When he received the sample, again the prompt, and the child sad "Thank you."

This got me to thinking about how we lose our manners as we age. It is very unusual here on A2A for a poster to offer a polite reply to an answer. Why is that? Is it because the questioner and answerer are not face to face? Does the anonymity encourage our manners loss?

What do you think? Please let us know. And, thank you.
