When I get real hard my penis sticks out just over 45 degrees or slightly over horizontal. I once saw a picture of a guy whos hard on was like 90 degrees straight up and almost touching his stomach. I wish I could do that. Are there any guys out there whos hard on is straight up like that? Do you like it? Are there any exercises that you can do to acheive a straight up hard on? Anyone know? Thanks.

Yeah. I am talking about a straight up angle when you are standing and not laying down.

In my teens I was pretty close--I'd say around 85 degrees on your scale--and the older of my two teen-age sons now is about the same. (I couldn't help noticing when I had to rouse him out of bed for school one morning recently.) But penises tend to drift down as you get up in years. I'm in my middle 40's now, and my erection sticks out at a shade under 45 degrees, i.e., a little less than perpendicular to my belly, when I stand up.
But I'm not sure why you want to be straight up. Maybe it looks good to you (mine did to me when I was a boy) and to some girls. But a stand-up penis won't give you or your partner any more pleasure; it can be a droopy 25 or 30 degrees and still do the job as long as it's hard. -
Thanks. Is it harder to have sex when it's straight up? When I get hard it's pretty difficult to bend it down.

Couple of points here:1. It is incorrect to call horizontal 45 degrees and vertical 90 degrees. There are 90 degrees between horizontal and vertical. Compared with hanging down, horizontal is 90 degrees and vertically up is 180 degrees.2. Several A2A members have reported a vertical erection in the thread at http://www.afraidtoask.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB2&Number=109658&page=13&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1.3. A very stiff vertical penis may cause some difficulty with sex, especially with some of the more adventurous positions. However, this is a problem that resolves with time as the angle gets lower.

i get about a 80*-90* hard on, and it doesnt hurt to bend it straight out so i dont forsee ne problems with girls

i think it would be weird getting a bj. mine is a little over 90

Mine points about 1/2 way between straight out and straight up. I think it feels good to try to push it straight out when i'm masturbating.

Mine points mostly up when I'm fully hard. I would say 75-80 degrees. I have to hold it down to get it to be perpendicular, and its somewhat uncomfortable to do that.

Mine used to "stand tall" but in recent years it's become thicker and now leans at just above 45º. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not...
