Is there a relation between a groininjury and a distorted biochemistry (which might result in hairloss, acne, eczema)?I am afraid my testicles are producing the wrong hormones (eg. too much testosterone) due to an unknow injury (I made a stupid jackass action). After all the human body is a complicated biochemical thing.

Relation between acne, hairloss and a groininjury

I haven't heard of something like that happening - it sounds very unlikely. Your testosterone levels of course could be checked if necessary. How old are you? If you have the male pattern baldness gene, hair loss can start quite early - early twenties is typical, but it can be earlier.

Testosterone levels are controlled by the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. So unless you had a bad head injury, I can't see any injury causing too much testosterone. You may want to see your doctor for a hormone blood test, and see your dermatologist about the acne.

I haven't ever heard of it either & I knew test. production is controlled by a hormone from the brain but you never know. Maybe something very weird is going on which has distorted the production of hormones (among them testosterone) in the testicles. Very unlikely, agreed.I am beginning 20s and I don't have serious acne or hairloss. However the idea that there is a relation between an injury and the eczeme/acne/hariloss is very unpleasant to me.

Has anyone else something useful to say?
