5 or 6 miles a day? that's an awful lot, all you really need is to be active for at least 30 minutes a day (cardio) and eat less and eat the right foods and you should lose weight
-
yes you would lose weight!
but you don't need to do that much exercise. keep it more around 30 min. build in some recovery days too. -
that is my promblem there iam a heavy eater and i can run and awful lot because iam very active. its hard for me to control my eating habits, when i eat i eat 1 time and go back for 2nd's, the first time i eat im not full yet. so do you think this would work or you could can give me some food advice on what to eat, what foods that will get you not to be so hungry ,and how to control your eating habits? im asking for a lot because i need someone who knows about these thing and this is a site for helping people right.

make sure you are eating at least 3 square meals with a some protein, fat and complex carbs. and also 1-3 snacks a day. fill up on the good stuff-- veggies, fruits, lean meats, whole grains. so you aren't hungry for the bad stuff.

I lost 40 pounds eating whatever I want. I would work out for 2 hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. My workout included power clean, bench, incline bench, butterfly, dead lift, squats, curls. 3 repititions of 5 for all weight lifting.Left side crunches, right side crunches, regular crunches. I started at 1 repetition of 25 and worked my way to 2 repititions of 50. Yes, your abs will hurt. The first week is hell due to soreness, but afterwards you'll be OK cuz you're body gets used to it. Doing all the exercises is best when with a friend so that way you can seperate repetitions by at least 3 minutes. I know 2 hours seems like a long time, but you'll be so busy trying to get all the exercises done, time will fly. That is, after the first week.Good Luck!

This is for anyone trying to loose weight.. Measure yourself.. Don't always go by the scale.. You may think your loosing.. hop on scale and it says the same thing as two weeks ago.. you get discouraged.. So measure yourself

Plus muscle weighs more than fat.

To run 6miles in an hour you'll have to run at nearly 10kph (thats moderate run speed on a running machine)To keep that up for 20 mins would be good, an hour would be tough even for an athlete.

anyways im not running its a lite jog for 5 to 6 miles.
