Jesus was dark skinned becuz if u compare him with the rest of the people who lived in his area during the time that he lived, they were all dark skinned, like an arab is dark skinned...all the pictures that you see with him having long flowing hair that's light brown, or evenblonde, are most likely inaccurrate. mainly in part because jews during his time had brown curly hair. and maybe i should clarify, amanda, the first homo sapiens were most likely darker skinned then today's caucasians.
-
Do you find BLACK WOMEN sexy or attractive?
-
all pictures are inaccurate because there were no self potraits during that time, still you can't say he had dark skin, that can't be proven
-
so your saying that, historical drawings of jews in his time period are all inaccurrate? and that he was the only "white" male there during his time, in that area? immacculate conception, Son of God, OF COURSE but only white guy there? umm...that sounds a little far fetched and doesn't sound accurrate.
-
drawings aren't accurate, people are constantly making changes to drawings, i never said he was light skinned, i'm saying that you can't sit here and say he was dark skinned, you don't know what he looked like, and who knows if the guy even in fact existed
-
so your saying, all the drawings that were made by the jewish people who lived there at the same exact time, or within a few years, all have been altered? could you imagine that? people going out to the walls and broken pottery and tablets and say " i know, i'm really gonna fubar history and make their skin darker and hair different, that'll get em."
-
Jesus was white. I did not evolve from no damn monkey. Black people may have, but I damn sure didnt. And besides, some monkeys have white skin w/ black hair. Not that it matters.
-
i'm not quite sure you know much about drawings, skin color wasn't always represented acurately, there was almost a symbolic meaning to the lightness and darkness of the skin, ancient eyptians are a great example, in fact outsiders were often shown having orange or blue skin, higher status was shown with darker skin, plus stuff fades over time, all i'm trying to say is that you can't look at a tablet, ostraca, or anything else from that period and be able to accurately tell what color their skin was
-
Considering the geography and hardship of travel at the time... it seems most realisitic that Jesus was neither black or white. Rather he took on the characteristics of the region he was born. This would take on an important role in his acceptance among people of that area. It is said that Jesus traveled with other men. If he was either a white man or a black man, those men probably wouldn't have followed.
-
And to add to that - I didn't come from a monkey. Scientists are even saying now that even though there's less than a 3% difference in the genetic configuration of monkeys and humans the differences are still great enough to say that we didn't. And to add that, if we are the evolved form of apes why are there still apes around?Knowing what "color" Christ was isn't really relevant is it? No one will ever really know what he looked like. It's all speculation and theory. You're only going to know when you die. So if someone here has died, gone to heaven, seen EXACTLY what Christ looks then you let me. Until then like my 6 year old cousin says, "oh hush."
-
Jesus was a person, thats all that really matters, not his race or sex
-
heheh. Yeah, I like making theories. You're right though, it is irrelavent and off topic. Some find black women sexy and attractive others don't. We all have our reasons. On to the next question.
-
powerlifter, i know this isn't the thread to address it, but i don't appreciate that racist remark. it shows how ignorant you are.
-
what racist remark? Sayin that I didnt come from a monkey? Or sayin that you might have but I didnt?Seems to me you're the racist one gonna come on here & say that everyone came from black poeople. Thats damn sure NOT true.So that shows how ignorant YOU ARE.
-
how are u gonna say that one ethnicity of the human race can decend from primates but a but another ethnicity can't? did your mind actually believe that that sounded logical when you were thinking about what to write? AND maybe i should've clarified...humans decended from a common animal, and that animal probably lived in africa. And in africa the they would've evolved or adapted to suit their climate best, and if you look at africans to date, they are all dark skinned, then once people (homo sapiens) started to migrate to the north, south, east and west, they too adapted to their surroundings. the hotter climates tended to have darker skin, because as we all should know, darker skin is better suitable for sunnier and warmer climate.
-
I was feelin' you for a minute, Powerlifter, but a part of me thinks you are a bit of a racist, but you're trying to be nice about it...and that's fine if you are..but you're not really fooling anyone...
-
In reply to:how are u gonna say that one ethnicity of the human race can decend from primates but a but another ethnicity can't? did your mind actually believe that that sounded logical when you were thinking about what to write? -
look dude, you said that everyone descended from black people. I said I know damn well I didnt, and I'm white. SO, I simply stated that if you think black people descended from monkeys then maybe so. All I know is that I (a white person) did NOT come from a monkey.I think you're racist to say that everyone came from black people. If that were the case wouldnt black people be the majority of the worlds people? Why are blacks the minority? This is stupid, you turn everything around to make me look racist. If I were you'd damn sure know it.
-
how do u know damn well that u didn't? do u think evolution happens in a matter of days? FUCKING SHIT MAN READ A BOOK WATCH DISCOVERY CHANNEL SOMETHING.
-
Number one - How do you know "damn well" we did?Number two - Not everyone believes in evolution. Tell me something obi wan - If we all evolved from apes and God made man in the image of himself does God look like an ape? I should certiainly hope to shout not. And I'm assuming you believe in God as well as evolution? They both can't exist together. The Bible says, "God created MAN in His likeness" not "God made apes so that would evolve into his likeness.."Number Three - You know, I've been thinking about this so let me share this with you if we evolved from APES there wouldn't be anymore apes. The theory of evolution is that it takes millions of years and evolves around survival of the fittest. THAT means that apes would have had some condition like climate (for example) that was causing later species of apes to evolve into something different. So if we came from apes why can I go to the city zoo where I live and see several apes? And don't waste your time on The Big Bang Theory. Darwins Theory of Evolution is just that. A THEORY and it will forever remain a theory because no one can prove it or disprove it. So you should probably stop trying to teach it as a fact because it's not. By the way, if we evolved from the black race and darker skin is better suited for warmer climate etc that would actually mean you evolved from a lighter skinned race correct? Because if the lighter skinned race evolved from the black race that's actually evolution backwards and according to Darwin that doesn't happen. Evolution is designed, again, for survival of the fittest.Number Four - I'm willing to bet that Powerlifter is just reacting to you saying he came from an ape and that we all evolved from the black race. I'd be a little perturbed to if I had someone trying to shove evolution down my throat. As far as I'm concerned the evolution theory can grow two legs of it's own and take a jump off a cliff before I'll believe it. Like I said, it's a THEORY and not a FACT.

LMAO this is funny
