Hello everyone, I know the topic sounds stupid but please read:I have been with my wife for 6 years, I was a virgin when we met, she had 2 partners before. We have been togeather ever since. I have never had any other sexual contact, I have been to strip clubs, bachelor parties, sex shops (with her) etc. But neither of us has ever had SEX with anyone else since we met. We have been married now for 1 year.I am very concerned, first off I am borderline hypochondriac, I get freaked out about everything, I would be too paraniod to even cheat, etc. I satisfy my curiosity thu other means, like pornography. My wife goes to a "free clinic" every year for birth control and her paps and test, she has always been fine, of course right... we are monogamous, normal married people. Once however they told her she may have Clamydia, turns out she didnt, lately shes been switching out birth control and we havent even had sex very often, and she was bleeding in werid cycles and a little after sex. This was all atrrributed to her birth control issues. This last visit to the clinic however she was told she had Clamydia, I'm going to get tested this afternoon but it boggles both of our minds, we are totally honest with each other, we are very concerned as well, because how could this happen?Of course you could say one of us was unfaithful, this is the most relevant answer, but for a minute say thats not true (becuse in our hearts and eyes, and the eyes of God (we are religious) we know were monogomous) What other explanations are there, what could have happened?I an desperatly seeking answers, and now I'm going back into hypo mode thinking we could have HIV or she could have PID, etc. Please give me some guidance.Thank you.

Wife has Clamydia... HOW?

Either the test was wrong again or she cheated. You only get it from sex.

There is a third (but unlikely) possibility. Chlamydia often produces no symptoms, particularly for females. Your wife may have contracted this disease prior to getting married, and previous tests might not have picked it up. In other words, the prior false positive might have been a real positive. The downside to this possibility is that if she has never cheated on you, she has had this disease for over six years without detection. That seems unlikely. The most parsimonious explanations would be: 1) that she cheated, or 2) that the free clinic is staffed by incompetent goons that tend to mix up results. Don't jump to any conclusions before you get a second opinion. In the meantime, have yourself checked too.

I went to gt tested today, they are testing me for HIV, syphilis, ghonnrea and clamydia.I don't have faith in the clinic, I might have her get retested somewhere else in the mean time.Thx guys.

I just got out of college a year ago and dont have a good enough job yet to have health insurance.I'm really freaked out, I fidn out tommorow, I'm being irational right now, I wish it was 3:00 tommorow already.

Almost any place of employment offers some sort of health benefits. I'm not even out of college and I have my own health care plan. I'd pay the money and go to a doctor's office to have the tests done.

I know this is off topic a little but it does apply somewhat. My friend said her boyfriend had Clamydia in his eyes. What is this all about?

Hi guys, the lab that was doing my tests were taking forever so I rushed them and didnt get the clamydia or ghonneria tests back but the HIV test came back non-reactive. Thank God.Thats all I care about, we can treat PID or clamydia or anything else, I cried I was so relieved. Now all I have to say is bring on whatever else there is and me and my wife will deal with it.I wanna say thanks to you guys, it sounds stupid but when things like this happen and you have no where to talk or ask questions and you cant talk to family about it, it just helps to go someplace.

That's good news.
No problem about the advice. This forum is the place to go when you can't talk to anyone else about certain problems. Good luck with everything.
