hey, me again......................i just need some info from the guys here.here is the thing, and im not sure if it just me who does it, or if its how its done by many men.after going wee, do u use the muscle that sort of lift/raises ur balls?, not sure wat its called, i've been doing this for a long time, sinse my operation as a kid i think......like wen u stop urinating half way through, you use the PC muscle...., is it normal to do this all the time?, its like an urge i get, and if i dont do it, my penis feels wierd after, like there more to come out....its the same sort of thing as when you are getting an erection, and you make ur penis bounce up, its hard to explain.........but when you do it, it makes ur tersticles raise up, then they drop bak down wen u stop using the muscle..........................is this normal??, and if not cud it be causing my erection problems, like maybe stoping blood gettin in the penis or makin it leak out?......................also anyone got any hints and tips on how to increase blood flow around the body and especialy to the penis??, like diets/food, liquids, errmmm vitamins, and if i can get these vitamins simply by asking at a pharmasist?thanks in advance

I think you are referring to the pubococcygeal muscle (the PC muscle). That's what you use to stop urination. It does lift your penis when it's erect, and lifing up your balls too is normal. Using it hasn't harmed your erectile capacity - in fact, it is said to help it. Exercising the PC muscle is the basis of Kegel exercises, which are often recommended for improving sexual performance.

yea, ive just been reading about that, and started sum excersises.....................when i stop urinating, i could feel wer the muscle was.........but there is also a lump near it, just further down near the rectum..............is this normal!!????, ..............and also i cant feel the pc muscle while doing the excersises, i could only feel it wen i was peeing and stopiing................................also wen i do these excercises.........just above my hips, it goes really tense, like theres is two hard tubes there, and also my stomach goes in and 6 pack appears..........does any of this sound normal????, im especially worried about the bump i found near the rectum, help please....thanks again

so you're saying that it could be beneficial to stop urinating halfway sometimes to exercise this PC muscle, for improved sexual stamina?
does this harm our bladder in anyway? if not, great! that's something new for me to try .. :grin: -
I'm not sure what the lump you could feel is, problem_child2. There are a number of glands and bits around there that it might have been. I suspect you are contracting several muscles at once. The PC muscle doesn't pull your stomach in, that's a different muscle. The two "hard tubes" are probably ligaments.jlong39, you don't have to actually stop urinating to do Kegels. When you know what the muscle is, you can exercise it at any time without urinating at all. Stopping urinating halfway doesn't hurt your bladder, but if you end up regularly not emptying your bladder completely it puts you at more risk of getting urinary tract infections.
