At first I felt itching behind my knee so automaticly I started scratching that place. When I looked at it it was like a tiny zit but skin colour....so i thought it was nothing.Next thing u know that tiny spot turned into 10 tiny spots.A month later it was a fully grown wound that was always wet.SO after putting all sorts of cream on it it didnt work...but when i started putting something over it, it dried out and is healing.NOW all of a sudden I got like 10 spots all round my body.I aint touching them cuz I dont want to spred again. My question is WHAT THE HELL IS THIS.Its like every 3 days a new spot appears.I shower every day,im a clean person....I talked to alot of ppl but nobody could tell me what exactly is wrong.Every1 is speculating..fungus/stress/showering too much? etc.Im not alergic to anything. The spots turn real hard after a couplke of days....but I have no idea what cream or whatever to put on them.PLZ if any1 can help how to treat this cuz...its not stopping.Since it does itch a bit it might be some kind of fungus....but if any1 knows exactly what this is plz reply and tell me with what to treat it with. Thanks!

Some kind of skin infection.
-
Ummm... you need to see a doctor and quit guessing and trying to treat yurself.
-
Trust me I would do that gladly...tho the problem right now is cash.Thast y I decided to turn to forums cuz maybe some1 else has or had the same problem.
-
Instead of waiting for someone else to say it, I'll say it:"If you have insurance they'll cover it"
-
Maybe someone knows, bu you should be able to find some community clinic that charges fees based on income.
-
Well the insurence is the problem.I dont have it cuz Im a diplomat so we dont get that and now I live in the US.If I was back in europe id get a check up for free but here its like $300.If I had a job than yes I would pay for it but since im 19..I go to college and my dad isnt taking this seriously
-
If you look around you should be able to find something much much cheaper. Find a local community clinic.
-
If you're a student, then most schools have a health center on campus. Can't you go to that? They usually allow you to see the doctor and then let you pay at a later date if you don't have the cash right away.If not, try going to webmd.com or some other health website which has that kind of information. You may even be able to call a doctor's office and ask them what they think it might be (if you tell them you're trying to figure out if you need to come in they'll usually tell you if it's serious or not). I had something like that once but it turned out to be an allergic reaction to dust in a classroom I was in. Maybe it's something as simple as that, or maybe it's serious. Don't wait too long before getting some kind of help if it doesn't go away, you might regret it.

diplomats can get insurance
-
Ye depending on the agreement between the 2 countries. My one doesnt..but thast off topic
-
@Geeky one. So what happened to it..did it just go away by itself or did u have to reat the infection?Cuz i am surrounded by dust at 1 place
-
I just had to make sure I wore clothes that covered my skin as much as possible. That helped a lot. But it didn't completely clear up until I finished that class.

Today I talked with my gym teacher. He said it might be bed bugs and I need to spray my whole room.Like I said im a clean person but he said bed bugs travel by wind and if ure window is opened 24/7 they gather.I made a couple of pictures if any1s interesting.Dont worry its nothing disgusting.http://community.webshots.com/album/138719883eEcMhZ

everything your gym teacher told you about bed bugs is wrong

Hiya, We have been doing the integumentary system at university and I do think you should see a doctor. The only think I can relate it to is something called molluscum contagiosum. This is a common disease of the skin although it does mainly affect children (my daughter who is 5 had it) it is characterized by papules less than 5mm in diameter and they are spread by direct contact so if you keep itching one then touch other parts you can easily spread them. you can get treatment but i was told it is best to let them get to a head and basically get infected then they will go on their own in around 9 months. i am not saying this is what you have got but it is just an idea and it looks just like my daughters did which also started in the back oh her knees. hope this helps. xx
-
Thanks for the post.Tho I really hope that this isnt what you think it is cuz 9 months is a long time and god knows how much can happen till then.Im going to see a doctor in the next 2 days so ill post what happened.
-
My daughters didn't last that long so if it is that then don't worry it isn't anything bad just try not to itch them as that can make them spread. good luck you'll be fine x
-
Ok well i finally went to see a doctor. Its nothing serious. She told me the name for this infection but she gave me a latin name so i forgot it.Either way the reason it was/is spreading is cuz I touch the wet wound and then while doing something else I touch a clean spot on my body and then that place gets infected immediately. She subscribed me some cream and pill and says ill b seeing results in 2 days and it should completely be gone in 2 weeks. hope everything turns fine
-
Am really glad mate I've been keeping an eye out for the result. Told you not to worry! x
-
Well in case some1 else gets this problem in the future...the infections name is IMPETYGO.
