Hiya, Just thought I would say bye and thanks to everyone who has helped me with my STI seminar and other people I have chatted to, you really are great and honest people. Unfortunately today I have been diagnosed with cervical cancer at just 29 so I am deferring from my course and start treatment. Scared shitless, totally gutted and don't think its sunk in as yet although we knew it was expected. Anyway enough warbling on and thanks again to everyone. My husband is going to keep an eye on the forum for me keep me upto date with all goss so please don't delete me!!I'll be back! xxxxxxxxxxxx

oh thanks somuch it means a lot. it has been a crap day and feel very alone at this moment. my parents live abroad and had to tell them on the phone. My kids don't understand whats going on and I just don't know what to do or why this has happened tome! I feel really scared. Oh god i am sorry to go on i have just worked so hard for everything i have got, i have a great life and i love my family and now its all up in the air

thankyou you are so kind i feel like i know you all even though i have only been here alittle time. the doctors sent me altter i got on sat saying i need to go in asap. On a sat!!They are bloody closed. I had been at the hospital in Jan and they said just to keep an eye on it and have a repeat smear in July. I went back In sept and it has gone to severe dyskaryosis from moderate in that little time. Thanks to you both. I feel the need for a drink!!

And those bloody nurses had better be nice to me or I will be back to stick needles in them when I'm better!!Oh god you've cheered me up thankyou. Just had my bloody hair done so will be pissed off if it falls out now!!

I can do catheters now I may take one in with me. Hopefully I won't have to stay in every day they will let me home as long as I am ok

I've done catheters... but have never thought of doing a self catheterization :scream_cat: but whatever floats your boat... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

But just think of those blanket baths your gonna get off those male nurses... but don't you just know they are going to be spotty kids :open_mouth:

I meant on the nurses not me!!Am smiling now! Then again I might bored! I'm in sunny Cheshire so hopefully will know a few of the nurses there, I will just try to scare the spotty young ones!! Maybe they will bring my a Mcd's in. You know this may not be so bad. It's going to be hard but I get to lay in bed and get pampered all day long. Watch me come out with MRSA knowing my luck!

Well you know the stats for MRSA as well as I do huh! laying in bed getting pampered all day? an NHS hospital? I don't think so LMAOisn't there a hospital in Suffolk that has a micky d's in it?

With 2 kids a husband. horse ,dog and the rest of the bloody farmyard a stay in a nhs hospital sounds pretty good at the moment!! How come Surrey gets a Mcds?? That is not fair can I request to move down there? Cheshire have come a long way by installing water fountains!

and I heard that the installation of "inside" toilets from out-houses was the best thing since sliced bread LMAO could you imagin all the geriatrics with zimmer-frames trying to get down those stairs queuing up LMAO

We are advanced here we have paper bowls to piss in, you are sooo behind! As for a old bod in the case of an emergency pop themon a mattress and push em downthe stairs!! I was taught that honest! Maybe its a good job I am deferring!

Thanks hun everyone has been great on here. I am going in 2mrw. They are hoping that it is carcinoma in situ (??) which although cancer is the best stage you can have and will only require surgery or hystarectomy (can't spell). I am feeling much more positive now and I will be back. Thank you everyone, please pray for me and I will beat this and go on to be super nurse/midwife specialist in catheters!! You are all fab.
