I have started using seasonale birth control and I am on my first pack set and I am starting my third month of pills. I have been bleeding constantly (mostly spotting) most of the time. I am currently bleeding like I am on my period and this has been going on for a week. I was wondering if any of you are on seasonale and have experienced similar effects?

Seasonale

isn't seasonale the one where you have four periods a year? maybe this is one of the four?
-
That is correct. Get it 4 seasons.

It's normal to spot until you get used to birth control, but it seems like you should be past that by now. I've had to switch birth control before because some kinds are most compatible with your hormone levels than others. You might want to consider getting switched.

i'm doing the same thing you are with my pills (you dont have to be on seasonale to do it) the first few skipped periods i had i did have lots of breakthrough bleeding, its kind of a shitter. but once you get through that and have your first period it generally tones done. it takes your body a while to adjust to not having your period. i have been on it for a year and a half now and things are perfect. makes sure you take it at the same time everyday, and dont miss any pills, or your period may come rushing in. no seriously though, skipping your period is the best thing in the world. stick to it!

Spotting is the most common side effect (and completely normal) of Seasonale. When I was put on it that was the first thing my doctor told me.

I'm on Depo. (That's the shot every 12 weeks.) I was also on it before I decided to have my second child so I know that, the first three shots, 36 weeks, I get spotting at random times, but after that I don't get any periods at all. Last time I was on it for three years.
However, for some women they will bleed nonstop until they stop getting the shots. I imagine Seasonal is the same or similar. Perhaps they can adjust the dosage.
