*PETITION* U.S. Marine kills wounded insurgent.

what analogy was used here? AND I have had: 2 liver biopsies, 2 kidney biopsies, 1 lung biopsies, and 1 kidney removed...ALL OF WHICH I COULD'VE DIED. I have almost Died twice just in my home, with out having any procedures done, I missed half of my junior and half of my senior years of high school and STILL managed to graduate in the upper portion of my class...So, now becuz she comes along and has a baby, i have to bow down to her, becuz obviously she had it way tougher then i did. And all of this has happened in the last 3 years..

Moderate! I have stared to get liberal after what I realized life is like for an average person.
-
no, i just wanted you to know why, i feel the way i do, on the other post. about who has it harder.
-
not lung hemorrhaging and coughing up blood, and kidney failure, when the kidney that's failing is the only good one. But back to the post, the guy shouldn't get hard time...so he's coo.
-
there is such thing in time of war...in a warzone..let my clarrify

Murder, as defined by Webster's Dictionary is the unlawful killing of one human by another, especially with premeditated malice.I signed the petition and I would sign it again. Sexpot, you're probably one of some of the greatest people I've ever known, but there is no such thing as a war where people play nice. If you play nice, you lose. There are no rules in war. And I don't think there is any such thing as a POW anymore either. Look what they are doing to our POW's. And realize that these guys were just under attack. I wouldn't want to take any prisoners either. And if it was between that man coming home and my mother coming home. I would want my mom to be standing on the door step saying, "it was a long hard fight, but I'm home now." I wouldn't want her shipped back with her head severed from her body. I hate to say it, but if you're at war, you do what you gotta do to stay alive. If they're unwiling to play by "the rules", then we shouldn't have to either. EDIT: I would also like to add that while at war, according to Webster, every soldier is guilty of committing murder. Should they all stand trial? Was what he did right or wrong? Who's to say? I don't think it was wrong. I hope he is set free. Personally, I think being at war and shooting your enemy and living an every day life and then killing someone are two different things. And I can't honestly say that Marine would've killed a civilian over here or anywhere else if they weren't trying to harm them. And you have to realize that as any military officer you are taught that while at war anyone from the opposing side can be a potential enemy and that anyone from the opposing side could be armed and dangerous.
-
well put...i completely agree.
-
which part? the WILL or the SHOULD?
-
thats just it, he DIDNT break the law. In war, the enemy gets killed. If you think he did something wrong maybe you should go stand on the the front line & get shot at a few times. Maybe that would change your views. It severely angers me when some who ISNT fighting in the war wants to judge someone who IS FIGHTING for OUR safety. If you dont support our soldiers, their ways, or the United States way of life - get the fuck out!
-
heh heh heh...yep.
-
it
s not up to any1 over here to decide if he
s guilty. JAG`ll take care of him and -
I would sign up and go. but i can't. And what was hypocritical? I haven't said one thing and done another...please tell me.
-
:It's hypocritical that you guys won't enlist in the armyI would enlist, but I can't.
-
You have to have a clean bill of health.

Sex, I'm hoping you're not addressing that post about going over there to me as well, because you should know as well as I do, that when I'm out of nursing school, I want to join if my recruiter will still have me. I still support the war whether I'm there or not. When you sign up for the military, you sign up KNOWING that you may indeed go to fight a war. I have a lot of plans and things for my life, and basically what it amounts to is I want to do it all. And fighting for my country is an honor to me. Yeah, I would die for this country just as so many others before me have done. And I wouldn't think twice. And I have friends over there too. Some of whom are dead and I STILL support this war, but even more important, I support our TROOPS. Like I said, I don't believe in POW's. Because apparently we aren't going to get any of our POW's back except in unidentifiable pieces.
