looks good to me
You always want the from-to devices on separate IDE ports. If they share the same IDE port then the speed is significantly reduced.
i have two hard drives on one ide port and one cdrw on the other so should i switch the less used hard drive to the other port in order to speed up the other?
The two drives shouldn't matter in your case unless you copy things from one drive to the other a lot. It matters when you transfer data. If the data goes from one device to another on the same cable that things slow down.
what if you use both drives at the same time?
You just figure out what is optimal for you. I mean, it's not going to slow you down to where you'll really notice it. In some cases it may matter depending on what you are doing.
I don't notice any difference at all on mine
