Hey, i lost about 30 pounds but i still need to lose quite a bit, those 30 pounds wasnt from eating right or anything just running and lifting and such, but now i also want to start eating right to help me lose even more...problem is i dont know alot of food taht is good to eat, so i stopped eating lunch.. so i just ate dinner every day but i read that its slows ur matabolism down if u dont eat at least 3 meals a day..but what food is good to eat, for lunch usally ill go to a pizza place to eat with my friends is pizza ok?...and can you name a few good foods to eat?also anyone that knows about lifting..some people have told me to do bench press and sqauts alot so i did but should i rest inbetween days instead of doing bench day to day like skip a day of doing bench press?

I hate to say this, because I love pizza, but most pizzas are not health concious food. As long as you're not getting the really greasy pizzas (some places are horrible for this), then pizza is fine once a week, although it also depends on how much pizza you're eating at once. No more than that if you're trying to lose weight though.What you need to eat more of is fruits, vegetables, and leaner low fat meats. Steer away from fast food (I know there's healthy fast food, but I'm talking in general). Also, be sure to eat lots of smaller meals a day. I try to eat a moderately large breakfast, and a large lunch. I'd eat more for breakfast, but I don't have much of an appetite in the morning. If this is also the case for you, try eating your lunch earlier, or eating something that you bring with you. Try to get your high energy foods earlier in the day, and spread the rest out fairly evenly.From what I've read of other posts, this is what I've been trying to follow for exercising muscle groups. Don't work your muscles more than twice a week, and spread those out a few days apart. What I mean by this, is don't do your legs one day, then do them again the next day. There are exceptions to this though, like if you're doing training for a sport or whatever that requires endurance. Personally, I work my legs about 3-5 times a week between fencing, running, and various exercises.

pizza, like really greasy pizza, is not a good health food. but, pizza itself is not something that needs to be cut out completely, although u could, and lose weight relatively quickly, but eat lots of fruit, veges, and protein, protein, and more protein, like lean steaks, nuts, etc. when it comes to grains, try to eat only fresh grains, i.e. bread from a baker, because it tends to have less preservatives and less additives. cheese is good, but it tends to cause minor bad breath, so if you're gonna go see a girl afterwars, or are seeing a girl, stay away from cheese. :laughing:

If you want to have a healthy lunch have a dry turkey sandwich on whole wheat. Or any lean fish is good and the same for lean cuts of meat.

WOW dont cut out lunch!!!! Cut out supper, actually you shoudl down size it to a salad a glass of good old H20 and mabey some cheeze and crackers.I know abotu 60 people who ahve used this program and it works Great for health (dont know about weight loss but prevents weight gain) its called the BLOOD DIET very good Sience in it. Go buy the books Blood diet and eat right 4 your blood type.I every one that has used this program fora month straight has never gone back. headaces and all sorts of things just die out (they usally only come back when you go off the program)FIBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^ thats a good point yes make your meals smaller but make supper the smallest.You see in N.A we are retarted supper should be small because you want to eat before you do things not after if you go work out then eat well that food is going into the fat you just burned off. remember we eat to power the body fat it ar gas tank only fill it for as mutch work as your doing.personally i don eat mutch but im skinny (well not bone skinny) this is beacause i know that i dont do mutch i go to school come home go on my pc and go swimming some times and play with my dog mabey 3'hrs a week. i just dont need a big gas tank. do you?
