I heard that sperm dies, or becomes infertil as soon as it hits the air, is this true?
-
Sperm dying when it hits the air?
-
Not immediately, no. It does die when it dries out.
-
It dies just about 2 minutes outside of the cold temperature it's used to. As you might know, sperm is kept in a slightly cooler 'environment' to remain fertile, which is why some sperm die as soon as it enters the vagina (acidity and humidity of the environment).
-
Don't know where you got that info. Sperm can survive from 1/2 to 4 hours outside the body, provided it hasn't dried out etc...

Serious?!
