My boyfriends semen is white but why is it that some men have clear semen? Are you more fertile with white semen?

Clear semen is usually only seen with young guys who are just starting to be able to ejaculate. Are you seeing pre-cum (which is clear) instead?

My ex who was 20 at the time always had clear semen. I just wondered what caused the difference.

Well, mine in clear some times, and white other times...so i don't know

Most of the above is correct.White/Clear does not have any effect on if he is fertile or not. The clear stuff you see can be all he exerts or it can also be what cleans the male parts before the semen(white). This is so the lil swimmers don't die =). How much white vs. clear can depend on his diet, his fitness, and how often he masterbates/engages in sexual activity.Hope this helped.

I got to love this board, yet another riddle solved for me... I was wondering why it wasn't white, thanks for the help PS: Although it could be that it has turned white now for a couple of months, I never really looked at it clearly, you know ^-^;

Most of the volume is made up of two separate liquids that get mixed together and only one of these is white. Depending on the proportions the colour can vary.Guys who have just begun to ejaculate because the gland that produces the white part hasn't developed as fast as the gland that produces the clear part.For a mature guy it depends on time since last ejaculation and time spent working up to orgasm. The white component seems to be produces at a constant rate so the longer it has been since his last ejaculation the more white there is. The clear component appears to be made faster with increased arousal so if you keep a guy on edge for a long time before letting him cum it is likely to be clearer.
