I’ve been going out with my g/f for 1 month. Before that we were good friends for around 6 months. We’ve only hooked up as b/f and g/f once and that day me and her couldn’t keep our hands off each other. She lives in Scotland and I live in Birmingham. So we don’t often get to meet up. Since were a couple now we’ve decided to meet up every month. One Month has just passed in the relationship and so far we’ve argued ova 4-5 times mainly over little things, but we have always resumed them after 1 day or couple of hours of not talking.Every night I ring her or she rings me and we tend to talk for hours. The problem is she has issues and when ever I say to her I love her more then often in a convo she says to me don’t let your emotions control you. She’s basically scared ill stalk her, as in the past she had boy friends and when it ended they didn’t let her up without a fight (even now she gets pranks from her x).Anyway we tend to get close and then she wakes up ( remembers the past) and gets scared and pushes me away. We’ve discussed this and she’s trying to change but she keeps telling me i will take time. I really care for her and love her but is this love in return worth waiting for? Recently she had her periods and like for 2 whole days she didn’t even speak to me properly, then this evening she apologised and said it was her periods which made her behave like this, then she was all lovey dovey again.I really care for her and I know she does to, but she doesn’t express in the manner I want. What do I do? DO I be patient and let her adjust ( as we just started dating) or do I give up the relationship?

Complicated!

Honoustly, it seems that you really care for this girl.I would try to hold on, but I understand that she clearly has problems.I can better not give advice in this, since it'll be worth squat. But just, if it was me, I would want to discover how much I love her and think if I would ever find such love again.

hey i think its sweet that you care that much for her and personally everyone needs a chance. you both seem to have strong feelings for one another so why not continue who knows what will happen and at least you will know that you tried and you didnt give up and then she might get over her past

why the F` do ppl hate stalkers ???????
-
When it gets to a point where the stalker is following you every where you go, constantly ringing your home phone and mobile and basically making the person feel insecure.Dunno if you would enjoy that, but when it effect you and especially your family, you tend to build hatred and fear.

I think you're wasting your energy!

i kinda wanted to say being a stalker is fun

In reply to: being a stalker is fun What, how can you say that, as you can see in this situ. that chris101 is in how can you be so heartless man. It makes people feel bad how can it be fun

Because he's an ass who doesn't care about the feelings of others, or that seems to be the way he presents himself at least. This being directed to aSk^Ghost, why do you post on the relationships forum if almost all of your advice is negative? People come here for help, and telling someone to screw over the person they love (and are seeking help/guidance for whatever reasons relating to that person) is such a heartless thing to say.Part of what I'm saying is relating to your sickening response in http://www.afraidtoask.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB14&Number=145628&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

Damn, I would like to visit Scotland someday!Anyway, is your love infatuation or do you feel I-can't-live-without-her-syndrome?She is using many excuses to NOT get close to you or she is simply playing "THE" game. She is using past experiences to keep you at bay. That is one just one thought. Confront her and pin her down, on her feelings. If, she still is unresponsive, just move on.I made the mistake of hanging in there for seven years and this lady never got over her so-called previous relationships. I was so stupid! Please don't waste the time.A two day period? What a bunch of hooey! It lasts at least a week. Don't let her take you for a ride and play with your emmotions. Sounds like you really care for her but be a man and be cautious!

Actually periods can last for two days (even more than a week). Her cycle could be off a bit ^_^
