Let's tell it like it is, Steve. First off, that research was on THIS thread. Secondly, no research conclusively shows that it is affected by genetics at all. I do believe that it can be, but ultimately, a lot of people choose it when not affected genetically and then just get really confused. It's something our society has almost started to push on people. If you'll look at the research given, it shows that while there's a possibility that some are affected by genetic chemical imbalance (they're not sure if it's likely yet, I'd say it's likely but not as common as most would think) that even though some have chemical influences, most choose or feel obligated/misled based on how and where they were raised and certain circumstances in their lives. However, just because I said it's a possibility that a handful of people are affected by chemical imbalances, that in no way means I'm condoning it. Again, it's a person's own choice, not mine, BUT research also shows that it's harmful to society when chosen (in other words, if one defines 'immoral' as something dangerous to themselves or society, then by looser, worldly standards that are not even my own, homosexuality is still immoral. I can show that without bringing in any christian doctrine or biblical standards.) Yes, Last, and others, I compared it using society's standards to an abusive family, and if you actually READ what I said, it's perfectly justified as having the same base cause (chemical imbalance, or a cross between that and circumstances and experience/choice) and just as dangerous as an effect.Oh, one more thing. "Came to realize"???? I don't believe I ever said anything different than what I've been saying.
