Good (snowy) morning everyone! I was wondering if anyone has had experiance with bacterial vaginosis. Back in the end of November, I was put on big doses of pennicillin (sp?). A few weeks after the end of my treatment, I got what I thought was a yeast infection. I treated it as such, and it helped a tiny bit, but it didn't get "all better". I am having yellowish-brown discharge, and am very irritated "down there". I also am having very, very mild cramps, even though its not that time. I feel almost o.k. after I shower, but by the time the next day rolls around, it is back to being very uncomfortable. If anyone could offer any help at all, I would greatly appreciate it, as I will not be able to go to the doctor until April or May. Thanks!Brians Friend

I had it once, and yeast infections can turn into them, but people get it for various reasons. The main symptoms is the "smell." It's very foul. And a lot of times smells worse after sex. And you need antiobiotics to make it go away. I had no discharge or anything like that. They can take a sample from you and tell you right away if it's B.V. It needs to be treated ASAP, so get checked out.
