sit ups, press ups, weights - any reason why you don't wantt o go outdoors?

Well not really...I mean you can only do sit ups, push ups etc for so long untill you break a good sweat.I guess the best is the bicycle in a gym.

I took aerobics classes in high school for a couple years, and we would have cardio days and we did lots of good stuff that I still do now. One thing was the step. So if you want to use an actual step in your house, or make one out of books or something, you can use that. You know how to use them though, you step up and step down lots of times! lol. The other thing is to do a side step thing. where you just go back and forth from leg to leg, and do a little squat in the middle of transfering legs. Then you can just do different variations of the side stepping, like kicking your leg out, or raising it up behind you, to just do extra for the thighs or ass. I do this stuff for an hour a day, 2 half hour sets. It's also good to be moving your arms up and down with your legs, just for added movement, extra workout. I have little 3 pound weights that i hold on to the entire time. Then I do different variations of sit ups and crunches as well. Then there's leg lifts you can do also, I dont do that though. It's good to do it to music, cus then you can keep a nice steady pace.

i wish i had a way to get somewhere..i live in a little town..pretty much meaning..about 1/2 the roads are gravel, corn/bean fields every way you look..VERY small town..i dont think theres any form of public transportation besides school buses(for school only)

It's winter here, and I run in -15 C Of course, people say I'm crazy. If it's not too much below freezing though, whether there's snow on the ground or not, the weather is still fine. A small amount of snow on the sidewalks shouldn't be a problem at all. Just be sure to insulate with layers, as you want to be warm, but at the same time you should be able to take off your top layer(s) if you're getting too hot, since sweating too much while running in the cold is a horrible thing.

kinda a problem..there are no sidewalks..and the snow is pretty high
-
Hmm... no sidewalks. That complicates things I don't have a whole lot of cardio ideas since it's not something I worry about, I just do it (mostly running, but also alot of cardio through fencing).
