My girlfriend and are have been arguing a lot lately. It seems like even when we try to work it out we argue. We have both change, I admit it. Things aren't the same. I love her, but I don't know if it's right. It's hard to explain. This girl just got a job where I work and I have been really talking to her a lot. She is nothing like me, doesn't like the same music as I do, couldn't relate to me, and she has a boyfriend. We are always flirting and talking about our relationship problems. She has made a couple of comments about wanting to be with me but she hasn't came right out and said it. Like today, we were talking and she way telling me how she was going to break up with her boyfriend because he was treating her bad. She mentioned that she was a virgin while we were talking. I told her me and my girl were going downhill. I told her if we broke up I didn't want to get into anything serious, just some flings (if ya know what I mean). She was like well, if you broke up with her, and really liked a girl that was a virgin would you throw it out the window just because she is a virgin. I said no, if I really was into her. I think she was hinting that she would like to try things out between us. I dunno, maybe not. She always gives me hugs before she goes home. I told her today, you know I'm flirting with you right. She said so... I was like well you do have a boyfriend, she said you have a girlfriend too. I don't know what's going on. We have hardly anything in common, but I'm attracted to her. She isn't as pretty as my current girlfriend. Don't think I'm an asshole, and I'm wanting another girl while I'm currently in a relationship. But how bad is it? We all fantize right? I'm not acting on it. I wish I could be as happy as I used to be with my girlfriend. I'm beginning to like this girl, but I don't know if it could work because of out differences. Comments would be appreciated.

I think she finds it easy to be emotionally close to you regardless of you two not having much in common. If you think you can build a relationship upon that, and if you both want a relationship, I say go for it. Or just hang out first, get to know each other really well before you decide if you want to break things off with your significant others.

Before you try anything with the girl at work, talk to your gf. As time goes on, the rush, thrill, butterflies you get at the beginning of relationships mellows out. Its natural. Maybe you and your gf are just going through a phase?

Well, me and my girlfriend broke up yesterday. I guess the chemistry was gone. You would figure after two years I would be real bummed, but I guess shit happens....
