I got to see an advance showing of "Hellboy" on Tues. Very, very good movie. It's a lot less cheesy than the previews make it out to be. Much more plot. I'm not usually a fan of Selma Blair either, but she was cool in this one.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. Now all I have to do is get over this cold.

For those of you with niche interests:
If you like anime, I suggest the Berserk series (the source of my avatar- an absolutely excellent series). Whether or not you like anime, I STRONGLY suggest Graveyard of the Fireflies. Graveyard is touching and absolutely beautiful (one of my favorites). Spirited Away was also beautiful, though not as good as Graveyard.
If you're interested in Chinese Film, I strongly suggest To Live, Yellow Earth, the Blue Kite, and Raise the Red Lantern. These each require a little understanding of Chinese culture and history, so read up a little before you watch them. Enjoy!

I enjoy anime. Although, I haven't watched an anime movie since "ninja scroll"

Just got back from watching "The Girl Next Door". I enjoyed it a lot, but it wasn't what I expected. This would actually be a great movie for couples to go see. If your interested in a sexual comedy mixed with romance, this one is right up your alley. Now guys, you won't see as much as you probably expected to, but you'll see a little somin' somin'

"Classics" Guys these movies aren't that old. When I think classic I think Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, etc. If I had to pick a more recent move to pick I would say nothing I've seen so far comes close to the "old movies". I watch the new ones, I enjoy watching but that's it. I can't get involved with the character and the characters aren't believable to me.
