i was just wondering for those of you guys who also live in the us. do yall feel like a complete outsider being uncut like i am? i mean its not that i hate my foreskin its like im being told i should hate it because its grosse. the other day at work the topic came up somehow and out of the 8 of us ther were 4 guys 3 chicks. all of them had the most disguted faces when foreskin was mentioned. i doubt theyve ever seen one but they still know its disgusting. i just stand there and pretend to smile. i mean its like everyone at once is like ewwwww grosse and thats so nasty. its just really discouraging cuz i really wanted to get with one of those girls. ne ways i see this everywere around here (school, work, wereever). i just feel like if i was cut i could hook up with ALOT more girls and fit in. i feel like a lepor or somin. Ne ways just wondering if its like this were yall live.

Feel like an outsider?

Been there, done that. Unfortunately, it's sheer ignorance on the part of those people. Like you said, they've never encountered an intact male, but they shudder in horror. I don't understand it myself.

The reverse would be true too. Perhaps people who live in the UK that are cut would like to comment too. I haven't been able to find any current accurate numbers on the circumcision rate in the US. My guess would be somewhere around 80%. I don't let "being different" bother me. In the shower room most people are so concerned about themselves that they don't stare at you if you are uncut.

Quite frankly bud it isn't gross and just because we are the minority in terms of cut/uncut status in the US it shouldn't matter at all. SDP is right, they've never had the pleasure of being with someone who is uncut to see how we enjoy it. Please don't let the ignorance of a few bother you. Your penis doesn't make you a man, you're already that..capable of anything sexual and loving someone. Forget about it, find someone you want to date, do it and don't give your "status" another thought. When the time is right she'll find out and if she's "grossed out" or makes comments....she isn't worth your time, so move on. If a partner can't accept you as you are, they really don't deserve to be with you at all. And by the way, while we may the minority right now...more and more parents are choosing NOT to circumcise their sons at birth in the US.
