I seen a thread that was kind of about abs but not the same question. My question is that when i flex my abs it looks like i have a really great 6 pack but then when i dont my stomach sticks out. not like fat but sticks out, i work out alot and have a great upper body and all and i run alot bcuz of sports and eat pretty good. Can anyone tell me why my abs are like that

it is just that the muscle is tone but not that strong. do more situps.

I am same way, but i have some fat...but i know what you mean so situps seem like optimal thing to do.

mine do that too, its not just in your exercise, its also how you were built. some people have an extruded lower back (in fact its very common, so common that we dont even recognize it) which can push the stomach out a little when not flexed. its nothing to worry about, in fact is is what about 90% of what all people have. those suppermodels and such that you see on tv, always flex for a picture. dont worry about them, just keep working on maintaining your health.
