Yeah, i know not the ideal situation, but for my busy life style its the ideal tool...in theory.I know these will never be better than the real thing but well, if i could use these things to start with until a change in my lifestyle allows me to goto the gym this is an ideal supplment.Im considering purchasing a full body set of electric body toners (Arms, chest and stomache). My understanding of the theory of these is that a small electric charge pulsates through the pads onto the places where the pads touch. The effect of of the electicity through your muscles cause them to tense, as in excersise and will make them tone, or on more powerful settings actually build muscle. The ideal situation would be to wear them during work since i sit on my arse all day, its the ideal time. I would imagine the 'die hard' body builders would object to their use but if i had the time to do it properly i would.Does anyone use them? Any noticable improvements? If so how long? Does it hurt using it? Could i get away using them at work. Any recomendations?Obviously im specptical about the whole idea so i just want confirmation from real people of how sucessful they are.

Electric body toning?

If they worked I'm sure everyone would be using them.

is it like that simpsons episode.
Lenny - "Reimere I have been using your abductor but it isn't working."
Reimere - "That is because you have been using it backwards." -
Yup, Bruce Lee used those things long before they were approved by anyone in USA, and he was practically all muscle. ,.......But then again he died at 33, right?

It's been proven those don't work. Don't waste your money.

heh yeah i did do a little research after this post. Not really that great :s

If you do a Goole search on "Electric Body Toning," your post is the first result that pops up. Kinda funny how we make our way into a search engine!

Hi MaxI object to these electric toners as i believe that they do not work.Yes Bruce Lee did use them but also look at the amount of physical training he did (Bruce is one my idols, i have a shrine dedicated to him)I know that your job involves sitting on your arse all day but all i can recommend is to find the time, maybe hit a gym before or after work and try to get into it and then when you get into the swing of things you will find that you will have some good energy and feel good to get you through the working week.I work in a management position which involves me sitting on my arse all day at a desk, plus I have my own business and i still manage to allocate time . I have been doing martial arts since I was 10 and also train with things such as cycling, running, swimming and go to the gym, total 6 days per week, whether it be at 4,5am before work or after work. I turn 26 this yr and i feel ggrrreeeeaaaattt !

BUY THEM! i bought one like 3-4 years ago when they were big. i knew they didnt work, but it is fun to play with. i would turn it all the way up, and make it pulse for a while. you cringe and make funny faces... i could sit there for a while with a bunch of people and watch people use it.-tap
