Hey again.nearly 17 years old. On Tuesday (this past tuesday) - between 7-9 PM, I was hit in the groin area by a Hackey Sack ball. This hackey sack ball was thrown at me from about 4-5 feet away, and slightly above me. (was in a lecture hall type of room is the best way i can describe it. rows of seats and tables) The person who threw it was then slightly elevated to my position (1 row of seats above me) and about 4-5 feet away I would say. Not sure how hard, but it felt like it was thrown pretty hard. This guy was obviously aiming for my groin area, or else has the worst aim ever.My concern is that after being hit, the feeling has not gone away! It felt just like any other time my testicles had been hit - momentary intense pain that goes away after a while. But my testicles have remained at different degrees of irritation. Mild at most times, but annoying. It feels like everything is not right there. Is simply getting hit in the groin area enough to throw everything out of whack, or will it go away in a few days?It has now been 3+ days since this happened. I am starting to get worried. My groin region is definitely out of harmony now. you may be wondering, was this provoked? sort of. we were bored, tired, goofing off a bit. I threw the eraser end of a pencil at this guys head (just the eraser end, the eraser hit him and bounced off). I guess in retaliation he decided to peg my groin with his hackey sack ball! It is the equivalent of poking someone and then him slugging you. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Normal for testicles to be sore days after hit?

I would advise that you do get seen by your doctor for the following reason: if the pain is ongoing then it might indicate another problem being present that you were not aware of before. The first time that a lot of testicular problems come to light is after trauma such as this when the pain will not go away.Probably nothing seriously wrong but worth a check.

What could be a possible problem? Still being irritated/painful 4 days after being hit is not normal.did that hit do anything? What does anyone else think?I gave as much info as possible in the first post, because the more information you guys have on the situation, the more you can help.Going to the Doctor now isn't much of an option. It has only been about 4 days, still a chance of this going away? What could be wrong?Only a teen, so I need my parents to take me to a doctor. very awkward, etc. Wouldn't want to go through that if it is nothing. How can I tell if it is something? Please help.

just go to the doctor. My buddy got kicked in the balls once during football game (accident), but he still had pain and the doctors notice that his balls had twisted. It was not from the kick but from something else, and the kick just made it apparent.

Why can't you go to the doctor on your own?? Maybe it is different where you are but here (UK) anyone can be seen on their own at any age. 17 is more than old enough to go on your own.No point thinking about what could be wrong as there is probably nothing wrong, but you need a check so just go. It's really not that embarassing doctors spend all day seeing that sort of thing. Even female doctors.
