My boyfriend and I have been together a year now. We broke up and I thought we wouldn't get back together, so I made the mistake of drinking and having sex with my ex-boyfriend. A little while later (not sure on how long), after my boyfriend and I got back together, he found out he had Chlamydia. He swore up and down that he didn't sleep with anyone else.. meaning it would have to be from me, when I slept with my ex-boyfriend. We both went to the hospital, got 2 kinds of pills and a penicilin (spell?) shot. We still stuck together, even though what had happened. Months later we broke up again and he called me saying he had gotten his Chlamydia back.. and he hadn't slept with anyone else. So it was never cured. I went to the gyno a couple days later, after he told me, and got a test taken. Turns out I didn't have it. Which my gyno said, I could have just gotten lucky and it slipped right through, to where I didn't get it again. So my questions are:1) Can you have sex with your partner, that has Chlamydia, and not get it?2) Could it take longer than 10-14 days for signs of Chlamydia to show up?Thank You!-Amanda

This has been my boyfriend for a year.. and still growing. I can't use a condom every time we sleep together.. well I can.. but I trust him enough. He just cant seem to "shake" the disease.

This one isn't about trust. It is about that he is still sick, and you can get it back from him. You need to stay healthy too. He needs to be treated and it needs to be completely gone before you have sex with him with out condoms. Of course you CAN possibly have sex with him and not get it, however it will probably get passed back to you sooner or later. Good luck.
