Health Test - See if your healthy

One thing to keep in mind is that BMI doesn't account for body composition. If your a serious weightlifter or athlete, the BMI index should be ignored. Some idiot study recently said that almost 50% of NFL players were overweight according to BMI, but that is completely false because NFL have large amounts of muscle mass.If you really want to know if your healthy, you could have a body composition test taken to determine % body fat or check your resting heart rate. If it's above like 100 then your not in good shape.

actually callin more the 50% of NFl player "overweight" isnt a wrong term. the term overweight should be changed to "overfat" because thats what really matters. but technically most football players are overweight.

the statments above are true but not exactly for the majority of people. how many people sit in a gym for 4 hours a day working out. not many. how many can run a marathon, even fewer. these statments of normal, overweight ect. apply to the average person. stats show that over 70% of americans are overweight, and of those, 60% are obese. this test was modified for the average person because i know that not everyone has a body fat calibration system at home. oh, btw, if your resting heart rate goes aboove 100, please see a doctor.
