this girl and I have been interested in each other for quite sometime now, the thing is I like her a lot and when I brought up the idea about anything serious, she said she wasn't sure because of the fact that we'll be graduating soon and she wouldn't want to end up getting too attatched and hurt.I guess I'm more outgoing and don't think very much of the future, I like her very much, maybe too much presently, and want to take advantage of that, even if we do graduate next year, we'll both be attending colleges in this same state...I'm just curious if what she told me was because she was unsure of the situation and that I should continue trying, or if she really, truthfully doesn't want anything serious.

Hmmmm.....thats a tough one. She says you will graduating soon, but you said its next year. In my opinion next year isnt "soon". If it were a few months then I'd back off and respect her wishes, but in a year who knows what'll happen. You two could get together and break up within that time. Or you could fall madly in love. I'd give it a shot, a year is a long time. Plus, you dont want to look back and wonder what if?
