Can a man develop breast cancer?
-
Yes, but it's a lot more common in women. Why do you ask?I know a guy who had to have a benign lump surgically removed from near one of his nipples when he was in his early 20's, but that was not cancer.

a friend told me that his uncle had breast cancer
-
It certainly is possible. Unless your friend is a wacko, I'd assume he's telling the truth.

You can and i am 24 and recently got a lump under my right nipple that hurts like hell and it won't go away i thought is was gynocamastia but the net says it would be in both breast so now i am scared i could have cancer i go tomorrow for a mamogram . If it is i heard they romove the hole breast muscle and all and then the check you everywere else to see how bad it spread through you . I am kinda scared now i will reply with what i find out .

If the lump is benign, which it probably is, it can be removed using a minor surgical procedure.

I go to see the surgeon on tuesday . Well the mamagram hurt i now have more respect for women who have to get it done two times a year it really sucks . The lady said it might not be cancer just a tumer or cyst . Gynocamastia useally goes away in a month or two i had mine longer . We will find out tuesday if tumer or cyst or what ever else it could be but won't find out if malignant untill byopcy come back . Will post reply
