Herpes question

If you transfer the virus via saliva to your penis, then yes, you can get it on your penis.

so does that it means that i have it like 100% or is it a slight chance

According to this paper abstract (http://www.aegis.com/aidsline/1991/jul/M9170520.html), genital herpes is roughly half HSV-1 (normally oral) and half HSV-2 (normally genital). That means that either type will spread to the genitals. The probability is kind of academic now, unless you're asking whether it's safe to continue to use saliva (as a lubricant, I assume). I'd say, definitely not if you have sores in your mouth. Otherwise...not sure.Probably the majority of Americans carry HSV-1 in their mouths...dunno about other countries.

If you're infected, you may never show symptoms, or you may show symtoms around the time of infection only, or you may show symptoms down the road when your immune system is weakened by another illness. Hard to say.But a single exposure to saliva may not have led to infection. That research paper shows that oral sex can be risky w.r.t. herpes. People don't ususally give it much thought while in the heat of passion.
