WELL IVE BEEN WITH MY BOYFRIEND OR SHOULD I SAY "EX BOYFRIEND" FOR A YEAR AND A HALF NOW. HE IS MY FIRST LOVE AND I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR HIM. BUT ABOUT A MONTH AGO WE BROKE UP BECAUSE WE FIGHT TO MUCH ABOUT THE STUPIDEST THINGS. WE LIVE RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO EACH OTHER AND HAVE ALOT OF EACH OTHERS BELONGINGS (WE LIVED TOGETHER FOR A WILE) SO ITS KINDA HARD TO STAY AWAY PLUS HE HAS 2 KIDS WHICH I GREW TO LOVE (THE MOM DONT WANT THEM AND GAVE THEM TO HIM). WE AGREED TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE BUT WE DONT AND STILL KIND OF ACT LIKE WE ARE BACK TOGETHER BUT DONT CALL IT THAT. AND THE PAST FEW DAYS I WAS CRYING NON STOP BECAUSE OF HIM (WE WERE FIGHTING AGAIN) AND I DO WANT ANOTHER MAN BECAUSE I WANT TO BE TREATED RIGHT AND GET ALL THE THINGS I WANT IN THE RELATIONSHIP WHICH HE DONT GIVE ME, BUT IM REALLY SCARED, I WAS INVITED TO A PARTY AND I DONT NO IF I SHOULD GO. I NO IF I DO AND HE FINDS OUT HE WILL B HURT AND WE WILL GET INTO ANOTHER FIGHT AND I DONT WANT THAT BUT I WANT HIM 2 TREAT ME RIGHT WICH HE WILL NEVER DO EATHER. UGH IM SO CONFUSED I HOPE I DIDNT CONFUSE U GUYS......PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE I REALLY NEED IT. BY THE WAY THE PARTY IS TONIGHT

1. Turn your CAPS off! It is very hard to read
2. If talking to him doens't work, which obviously doesnt if you two are constantly fighting, look into getting some sort of conseling
3. Go to the party. What right does he have to get mad, you two are not together, and agreed to see other people
4.You two need to decide if you are together or not. This gray situation that you are in now,--not really together, but acting like you are-- will cause somebody to be hurt in the end -
sorry for the caps. i tried talking to him but it usualy doesnt solve anything. i just feel so guilty for going cuz me and him have our good times and i still deep down think that there might be a chance for me and him, but the way he treats me sometimes it makes me think that he dont love me at all and after a fight he always makes up for it..its a never ending cycle

Does it seem like an abuse cycle? You feel that you love him, he hurts you (even if just imotionally), you cry, he asks for forgiveness, you forgive, but don't want to do anything to piss him off, but he says you do, and then he hurts you....around and around.
If this is the case, you need to stop seeing this guy, and get on with your life. I think it is co-dependancy, and it is a bigger issue than what happens in just one relationship. Counseling could be in order for you to gain the strength that you need to move on.

In reply to: you need to stop seeing this guy, and get on with your life agreed. why waste your time on him if he wont treat you rightgo to that party, like my myself and i said, he has NO right to be angry / mad / jealous if you go.
