So I'm turning 30 this year and am happily married with kids and all but I LOVE SEX!!! I just can't seem to get enough. I feel guilty sometimes because this kind of thing is at odds with my faith, which I love as well. I'm not the kind to go out and experiment (b/c my sweetheart would be crushed and it's not like he doesn't satisfy). I guess I'm just wondering if I'm what you might call a sex addict or what. Does that make any sense?

Anyone else like me?

In reply to:I feel guilty sometimes because this kind of thing is at odds with my faithWhich faith is at odds with having intimate relations with your spouse? You are at an age where many women's sex drive is at its peak. You are completely normal.

Well, Princess, I am a LOT like you in that I am 33, married, and horney as hell. Unfortunately, unlike you, my spouse hates sex and I am lucky to ever get it at all. Don't feel guilty about being horney, just fuck your husband's brains out - he will appreciate it! And if you are getting bored with him, remember that there are a million different things you can try with him before you decide to try someone else. If you run out of ideas, just check the web or go to a bookstore, you will be surprised.

In reply to: Did that seem too easy to you guys? I don't believe in making things TOO difficult. Mostly I was just wondering cause my fella was gone and I was getting a little crazy for him. If I'm normal, hey, I'll just take me to bed!

PS...I don't know about you all, but I sure sure as heck feel better.

In reply to: Which faith is at odds with having intimate relations with your spouse? I was actually talking about the whole masturbating thing.
-
Speaking on God's behalf, I think the main issue is masturbation in men, and wasting sperm. I'm not aware of the bible's having a problem with female masturbation, so knock yourself out.
-
Masturbation is wrong, period, according to the Bible. Not just for men, but for women also because it is an "abuse" of your body. Your body isn't yours, technically it is the Lords temple, so theoretically its wrong(for those who choose to believe) to masturbate -but everybody does it.

Borrowed from a www.clitical.com Web page (not a religious site):In reply to:Religion is a real problem for many girls that discover masturbation. The Bible and other holy books apparently forbid masturbation and label it a sin. But if you look at the texts in question they are all, or at least the ones I have seen or had quoted to me, directed at males. There is no parallel for a girl to the male act of 'spilling ones seed on the ground'. Female masturbation is purely a pleasure act, it does not cause us to release gametes and has no direct relation to the reproductive process at all. Taken literally then there is no ban on us masturbating. Males that say otherwise are just jealous that we are free to play while the religiously observant male has to stick to intercourse for sexual release. That's how we see it and so we have no conflict between our masturbation and our religious beliefs. We hope you can agree with this, if religion is important in your life, but if you can't then perhaps its down to choosing between masturbation and your faith - no advice given on this one as its entirely up to you._________________________________________________Will the government outlaw masturbation?

Thanks but I'll take the words of the Bible over those from clitical, the site designed to "helping you hit the right spot". Of course a site about masturbation will say that there's "no conflict between our masturbation and our religious beliefs".How about providing a site with some substance, not one about masturbation, to support your position?
-
Perhaps you should site those passages where it says it's wrong.
-
In reply to: Perhaps you should site those passages where it says it's wrong Sure. Nowhere in the Bible does it blatantly say "dont masturbate" but there is plenty of evidence that suggests that its wrong.....I dont have exact verses memorized, and cant get to my Bible right now, so I'll find some info online.Okay?... lets begin at the beginning, lol(Gen 2:18)think about one of God's purposes for sex: Sex was created by God to help prevent man's "aloneness" Sex was clearly meant for two people--that is why masturbation goes against God's purpose for sexuality. Also, we must think about what almost always goes along with masturbation: sexual fantasy. Images, photos, movies--they provide material for people to create their own sexual fantasies. And we can easily become addicted to these kind of fantasies. In Proverbs 12:11, we are told that "he who chases fantasies lacks judgment."Paul, in 1 Corinthians 6:12, asked us to live in reality, not in fantasy. He also told us not to be mastered by anything. It may be difficult to understand, but masturbation can do great damage to you sexually. Your sexual stimulation and pleasure can become tied to certain images that aren't reality, that only exist in your head. Your future sex life within your marriage, could suffer. Finally, masturbation can become a substitute for healthy relationships with other people. Some people make the mistake of choosing masturbation as an unhealthy way to deal with their loneliness, depression, or frustration. They turn to masturbation as an emotional substitute for their problems.

You want me to cite sources that show that the bible doesn't have a problem with female masturbation? Proving the negative does not make logical sense. You need to support your affirmative assertion. As sdp says, biblical references would be useful, and might give the original poster something to think about.
-
In reply to: biblical references would be useful Did that, like 5 minutes before you posted.Anyhoo, if proving the negative doesn't make sense, why'd you post the link to clitical? I was merely stating that you shouldn't cite support for biblical acceptance of masturbation from a site about masturbation. obvious bias and conflict of interest. And whats with that link to whitehouse.org?
