Stars must be sacrificed in the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness.
Someone made one one-line post and has five stars. LUSTYLOULOU29 and her three posts, all originally in all-caps, rated five stars. JohnDoe made a total of 17 posts, all to one thread, where he was yelled at by everyone, when he "observed that women who are very sexually active often have visible side effects in the nether regions." Another five-star guy.
-
If you hover the mouse over the stars, you can see how many people rated you. Yeah all the 5-star people have been rated by only one person. There is some bonehead on the board who rates (used to, at least) everyone and anyone 5-stars no matter what.

In reply to: observed that women who are very sexually active often have visible side effects in the nether regions do they? chuckle

This site is a technological treasure. I'm still trying to figure out how to do subscripts, so I can post nice looking chemical equations, like those of Ineligible.I'm sure we would all have five stars, would that the start-rater did not default to one star. No doubt all those low ratings are accidents in this microcosm of unalloyed kindness and unqualified acceptance.
-
For a rippin' good time, go to this thread.
-
You should be able to do subscripts with simple HTML markup, but I haven't tried. I'm sure that is what he did.
-
i only have 1 voting and i get 4 stars, are u sure u gave me 5 hun!?D:
-
what a beautiful story I get curious about who rated me sometimes. Every now and then, my number of rates goes up one but my actual rating hasn't changed in months.I just wonder what it was I said that inspired some to suddenly rate me, presumably, by 2,3,or 4 so as not to alter my average.
-
I have a theory that the more ratings you get, the more it will hover around 3. Once you get 15 ratings or so, it takes more than one rating usually to change your number of stars...or something like that.So how many posts will I need to acheive the next level?Damien
-
nice look hon its 1500 posts to become a veteran, then thats it no godlike status for 2000 etc sigh
-
Don't sweat it, dear. You've already acheived goddess status. :smirk:
-
aww honey and i didn't think you loved me anymore big hugs
-
u even got the "goddess mom of pouncer" status!
-
awww love you too son hugs

There's some bonehead going around and rating everyone and anyone 1 star (noticeable by all the new people with one rating of one star). I've single-handedly brought these nice folks up to three stars.
-
Although your intentions are good, you should really only rate people who deserve to be rated, not just to make things fair.
