I am a 15 year old teenager, but I have grown man's body. I started puberty very early and and really realy hairy. I have a thick beard and mustache at this age. But my real problem is that I have hair all over the sides of my face, all over my cheek bone, under my eyes. I would shave it off but to me all this unwanted hair started because of shaving. I use to just have peach fuzz there but i shaved it constantly and now its really disgusting. I know everyone says it's a fact that shaving doesn't cause hair to grow back thicker, longer, faster BUT when the doctors and everyone say it, they always talk about body hair, which is to me totally different. Most hairy guys with mustaches and beards don't even have what I have. It's a real horrible sight and I feel really ugly and I use to get lots of girls before all this hairness. Please tell me what to do and if I should just shave.

Hair PROBLEMS

unwanted hair started because of shavingIt's not true for any type of hair. To quote myself from somewhere else: Hair naturally tapers at the tip if it's uncut, so when cut hair grows out of the skin a bit, it's more noticeable than a short-length uncut hair. It would have grown just the same whether or not you shaved it.It's possible to shave or bleach unwanted hair. There is also electrolysis, and laser hair removal (which is rather expensive).

It sounds like you have hairy genes, and you'll have to put up with shaving daily from an earlier age. :frowning:

but the problem is that i have like mustache type stubble hair on my cheeks and all below my eye,no hairy person has this......Did it start because of me shaving it when it was peach fuzz????Should I just of left it and not shave from now on,on that spot?

Believe the second post or not, as you wish, or Google "unwanted hair" and find things like this from the Mayo Clinic. You'll also find information on removing unwanted hair.
-
so should i just shave it ????and keep doing it?
-
Your choices are to leave it alone, shave it (which won't make it any worse), wax it (which you probably would not want to do), or have a medical procedure to remove the hair permanently (electrolysis or laser).
-
If you don't like it, either get used to shaving everyday, or eplain the situation to your parents and see what they think is best... They'll probably tell you just to shave everyday.

so shaving it won't make it worse????it seems like it started because of shaving

Dude, you're kidding, right? Go back six posts and click on the word "this" for the link to the Mayo Clinic page.

yo steve,i seen that and i went to that site before....but they talk about body hair not facial hair
-
It's all the same. There's nothing special about facial hair.
