hey, i was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback. Im about 19 now, and ive started to notice that i really dont seem to be producing smegma anymore. also, i dont know if i just havnt been noticing, but it seems like my glans tends to be bluish at times, (especially at erections)and especially towards the bottom of the glans. i had a doctor check it out and he thought it was just normal bloodflow. sometimes though, it tends to be darker blue than other times. is it normal for it change color like that?

The glans

No smegma is a good thing I would think. The color? I'm sure it's fine.

anyone else got input??

I would say as long as its not hurting you, its fine. The glans normally will change to a deep purple color when erect. If it feels good and nothing hurts, I would say you're good to go!

Hey bud, decreasing amounts of smegma is actually good because there is less to deal with there. I remember that as I went through puberty and into young adulthood there was a significant decrease, probably just about your age. I'd say we still produce it, but on a smaller scale. Now I hardly notice it at all.

yea, the smegma thing seems okay. its the color thing that actually bothers me. even when not erect, the underside of the glans is like totally blue it seems. and the truth is i really dont think it used to be like that, rather its changed. then again though, its not like ive been feeling pain or anything, so thats why it weirds me out.

If there were a serious problem with not enough oxygen getting to the tissues, there would be pain. Are your lips bluer or paler than they used to be? What about the inside of your eyelids? If you see a change of colour in other parts as well, it could suggest that you are becoming a bit anaemic and may need more iron or B12 in your diet.

no i really havnt nopticed any other color change. as i was doing a little research i learned that in general vigourous rubbing/sex can make veins more apparent. could it be possible that this is just the result of the same thing?
