sure does............i hate that OUCH!!

Tampon question
-
It's horrible isnt it.. I find the easiest way to get them out is to arouse yourself, or go to the toilet first. It makes the area moist, therfor not so painful when you take it out!
-
How about sitting in a warm bath?
-
I dont take a bath.. how dirty does that sound! lol! I do wash, just in the shower... I hate baths, always think a spider will come out the tap!
-
that not often appropriate steve, if you are in a public bathroom, or on your way out............it isn't excrutiating painful, just.........ouchy!
-
yeh, lol.. and sometimes it can leave some of the tampon material behind.. causing you to become itchy later on
-
The thing is not whether you hate baths, but whether it would be a useful idea if someone with a stuck tampon happens to be home. The reason I mentioned this is because someone I know has a teenage daughter whose friend talked her into trying a tampon for the first time. When she wanted to take it out, it was stuck. Her mom told here that it had to come out, so she forced it out. Not pleasant. I suggested to her mom that a bath may have helped, and she said that she hadn't thought of it. So, I was just wondering if it was a useful idea. Are you saying that tampons are made of a material that falls apart if they get too wet? If so, then they ought to be removed before they get too wet.
-
They dont really get 'stick'as such.. as there is nothing for it to get stuck to. Just gets a bit .. cant describe it. It would be like pushing a cotton wool ball into a bottle and then trying to pull it back out the bottle top.. its all scratchy and not easy.
-
that is exactly it.............thats the only bad thing about wearing tampons..........oh and when you have a bad cough and everytime you cough is kinda moves further out.........ok.............gross...............sorry people LOL
-
Well the tampon absorbs moisture. If it absorbs all the moisture along the wall of the vagina, sure, it will stick to it. In that case, like you said, getting yourself aroused/wet or sitting in a tub of water would moisten the tampon and allow it to "unstick". Of course, this is only convenient in extreme cases when you are at home.
-
lol!!! I know what you mean. or if you have been on really heavy, and its edging its way out.. then..... YOU SNEEZE!
-
Well, it didn't want to come out, and it hurt like hell when it was forced out. I didn't mean that it was stuck like cement. If a piece of material is stuck against a mucous membrane (like the inside of the vagina or the mouth) and dries out, it can stick. Dampening it will loosen things up.
-
Ew! Ouch! and Ah! This is another good reason for me to not wear a tampon. ow! nightmares.
-
but it's sooo convenient!! So what if there's discomfort once in a while when you remove it? It lasts a second. Imagine - not having to worry if your pad is still in place, not having to watch how you walk, sit or lie down!
-
Hon, that very rarely happens.............and i agree with Jen, not having a pad there is soooooo much nicer, no worrying, more comfortable etc.....don't not try tampons because of that!
-
i also agree with JenJen, the pad is very annoying
-
I know my friend was trying to convince me into trying it but my best friend was all like "IT'S GONNA GET LOST IN THERE!" she likes to exaggerate. I would try it but I don't like the idea of sticking anything "in there" I know I'm a wimp. My mom locked in the bathroom for almost an hour to do it and I still couldn't do it so... that's a done deal. The time will come soon I hope. Pads can be quite annoying though. When I first had to wear one I was walking around like a texas ranger cowboy lol.
-
LMAO it's going to get lost...a classic case of a person who believes that the vagina is labyrinth. Lol but honestly, don't labour yourself with the damn pads, go the tampon way - it's worth everything in the end.
-
We were told something that made all the girls go today. lol.. apparantly tampons are blasted with gamma rays to kill any bacteria.
-
gamma rays.................that explains the green tinge to my skin and the constant FURY!!!!!!! phew and i thought it was just the kids getting on my VERY LAST NERVE ...............guess its the tampons
