A few months ago, I decided I wanted to lose weight cause I want to look more presentable to people (especially girls). I always wear long shirts, and baggy pants to try and make my thigh look more thinner, even though I wanna wear some less baggy jeans. Well I've cut down on a lot of McDonalds, chips, other junk etc. But the problem is, my parents (especially my grandpa) keeps buying all these junk food for me that cant be stored away (like ice cream and chips can last for quite a while, but I dont think McDonalds can). So In the end, I end up digging to the middle of a trash bin, and throwing it in there. I feel guilty like I'm throwing their money away, even though I told them I dont like to eat the stuff anymore. Should I eat a little of it, or should I just keep throwing food away if I want to lose weight? Also, I was wondering how "fatty" are these foodPasta in soup (not drinking the soup)Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce (not drinking tomato sauce)instant noodles (not drinking soup)

Should I feel guilty about throwing food away?

Don't eat it if you don't want it. Tell them again that if they get it for you then you will throw it away. Maybe if they see you physically throw it away they'll get it. Fast food is extremely unhealthy for you. Wearing baggy clothes is just going to make you look fatter.

Your family needs to get a clue about nutrition. McDonalds' food is almost all unhealthy. and very high in calories. Tell them firmly that you don't want it. You can explain why, if you think there's a chance they'll understand. The foods you mentioned are all pasta (you must really like pasta), and don't have much if any fat. But by "fatty" I assume you mean "high in calories". If you're watching your weight, you need to budget your calories. Here's some useful info: Counting Calories In Starch, Grains, Pasta, Cereals.Don't skip the tomato sauce. It's very healthy.

Never feel guilty about throwing food away, infact it makes you strong. In my first 2 weeks of losing weight, I purposly bought junk foods and ice creams, looked at them for 20minutes. The temptation was extreeeme! But i threw them away. It shows willpower, and means you really -want- to lose the weight. To me having the junk food there is the first temptation, throwing it away is the first step to losing weight(if junk food is one problem you have!). ^^ and SteveA and Amanda are 100% right, you need to firmly tell whomever is buying groceries to STOP buying that junk food if they want to see you get healthy. (Also, eating pastas etc. are for some people an essential part of their diet. But don't over do it. Also, it might help to discuss with your family what foods are best for you(should probably see a nutritionist for the right answers there). If they know that you're serious about losing the weight, they can help you and keep you honest about your diet! They're your shoulder to lean on and what not

Just picture the junk food as the globs of fat they will turn into. You won't want to eat it anymore.

As everyone else has said tell them you dont want it and dont accept the food off them even when they buy it also you can tell them if they give it to you youre going to throw it away. If it makes you feel guilty have some friends over and force it on them .
