I saw on law and order that this girl raped this man and he turned her in (by the way she was holding a letter opener to his throat) and the court said she was innocent cuz its not possible for a girl to rape a guy but my mom says it is. Whose right? A man can sleep around, no questions asked, but if a woman makes nineteen or twenty mistakes she's a tramp. Joan Rivers

Is it possible for a girl to rape a guy?
-
A girl can rape a guy...don't believe everything you see on T.V.
-
rapen. The crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse. If you think of a guy having an erection and her having intercourse, then that act can be more difficult but not impossible. You would think that if a guy had a gun to his head or a knife to the throat, an erection would be questionable, but probably with enough contact, an erection may occur even though the mind says no. However, the term rape is more broad than just the act of intercouse.

A woman cannot legally rape a man. Well she can, figuratively Rape him legally, that is. But the law does not recognize rape by a woman. And that also means woman on woman rape.
-
You are so wrong. Where the hell did you pull that information out of?
-
I don't know if any of you have seen this one movie where a group of 3 girls would go around raping guys. I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard of it.But anyway, it is possible for a woman to rape a guy. It mostly occurs with children though and is rarely talked about b/c women are not often seen as sex offenders. Some mothers might molest their sons or force them into having sex. The thing is, no guy is going to admit that a female raped him. If they are both adult, the offender and the victim, it's the same thing. Guys have that macho mentality, like I can't lose to a girl, so if raped by a girl, they feel 10x worse I'm sure. I don't know, a girl would have to have a weapon to a guy's throat for that to happen because of physical factors. But sure, a woman can fuck a guy, erect penis or no erect penis. It can still go inside of her, and with the friction and lubrication, he may get aroused w/o will. Women are capable of it, it's just not talked about as much.

In reply to: You are so wrong. Where the hell did you pull that information out of? errr...the law, maybe? go to college.
-
You're a lawyer? If so, could you please cite where you got this information? I guess being a law student at 20 years old is pretty good. So you're saying, if a girl drugs a guy, ties him up while unconscious, performs oral copulation, sodomizes him ... whatever... You are saying that is not rape??? You are so full of it... Maybe you should use your head.
-
she cannot be convicted of rape. she can be convicted of other things (sodomy, kidnapping, posession, probably battery, etc.) in a situation like that but rape is not one of them. i dont know why you cant undestand this. by law...a woman cannot be convicted of rape because the legal system in this country (i am in the US) does not recognize that a woman has the ability to rape. i didnt say that i feel a woman is incabpable of rape. i simply said that a woman can never be convicted of rape, unless the rape laws in this country are changed to include women. i dont understand why you're trying to argue with me. i'm simply stating facts.
-
I can understand what you are saying but you have given me no proof except your word. Perhaps the law does not accept the word "rape" for female-to-male assault. You're playing with semantics and making it sound different than it really is. Change the word "Rape" to "Sexual Assault" and it's covered in the laws. And your "go to collge" comment I found to be very condescending and offensive.
-
California penal codes regarding rape. You guys figure it out.The penalty is prison time and a fine not to exceed seventy dollars.
-
and i found your "where did you pull that out of" commment to be offensive. hence my comment.and thanks, SteveA

Point taken.

This should answer the question once and for all:http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050621/NEWS02/506210377/-1/NEWS
-
i stand corrected. or sit, rather.
-
It doesn't quite answer the question. I don't think the discussion was about stuatutory rape, which is an adult having sex with an underage person. Whether the case you cite was consensual is hard to say, since, under the law, a 12-year-old can't give informed consent. The question is, can an adult female rape an adult male?
-
I agree. Apparently it wasn't just one incident, but 5 and the age issue makes it "Statutory Rape" which is different from the type of rape being discussed here.
-
thats difficult,i guess the answer is yes and no.a girl could find a way to oraly have sex with a guy, such as gun or knife or something,as for intercourse, its a bit more difficult,id say, if a guy didnt want to cheat on his wife, but the girl was threatening to kill his wife,i think,in my opinion,he could produce an erection
-
I would venture to say that someone could stimulate the penis enough to produce an erection for forced intercourse. Of course, the guy could mentally prevent an erection, but I don't know how easy that is. I've never been "forced" to have an erection.

I can't find anything in those Californian laws that prevents a woman being convicted of rape. The $70 fine seems rather pointless, even insulting, doesn't it?These are Californian laws, and that makes the point that rape laws vary from state to state - they are not uniform throughout the US, let alone the world. In my own jurisdiction women have been convicted of rape. I can't recall details, but I remember in one she held another woman down for guys to rape.
