**I agree with pete, you can make things happen. I expect my daughter to get a job when she is older, tho she will have to search for something she can do. You need to do something which will enable you to get out of the house and meet people, it will bring so much to your life. Instead of looking for a job, why not look into some kind of volunteering work......... a lot of volunteering things over here, generally provide transport to and from, since they arn't paying you anything. Maybe thats an idea. **

Disabled and breasts

I am beginning to understand. Everybody has been very helpful! I have learned a lot. I guess for some reason I always thought that someone would understand my situation (ie that I probably have no friends, never get to go places, etc) would be willing to help out. Just be a friend. It didn’t turn out like that. I guess it’s up to me. Hey, someone meet me half way! I hope everybody has a nice 4th of July!

Id gladly help you any way i can, but theres only so much i can do over the internet.

If your mind was obsessed with something you wanted (gf, seeing breasts) and you knew you would never have it, what would you do? My dreams even taunt me. I can't get a break when I sleep. Every where you look its all about sex: tv, internet, magazines, etc. This is definitely not a world for someone like me. So what would you do? Maybe I need some medicine that will take my mind off of things I can’t have!

Hey man, I knew what you mant when you said you were fragile. Its cool. I doubt anyone here can actually impact your life in a real way, but keep talkin' and we will keep listening and comenting. NO ONE wants to hear what the others say, but since WE want to be heard,we have to play the game, ya know? I'm kidding. What might work too is seeing if there is some sort of outreach group in your community, some agency, group like the United Way, or some such similar. They might be able to get you out and then you can meet people, hob nob, etc.Sex is not all it is cracked up to be. It t is the allure that sells, and so the media uses it. I know it is like telling a drowning man that at least he doesn't have to worry about having dry nasal membranes, but just saying that sex is not the end all that it is made out to be, but I know you want to experience it, or some aspect of it at least.I can only speak for me ( and those pesky OTHERS that live in my head) but you are welcome to speak your mind, post as you want. We are here.

It sure has been fun reading all the messages in this forum! Wow, I have learned alot of things! Hey, my birthday is in 22 days! BOOOOO! Maybe this year my wish will come true, then again it never has in the past. So I'm not betting on it. Wish I had something to do.

One thing I know for sure is that a woman like when you're being honest with your situation and don't try to act like someone you aren't, so I'd only see it positive if you got it out early about your disability and situation. If she think that's "messed up", I think she'd just be too shallow to be worth your time. Combine that honesty with the cheerful and positive spirit of yours that I'm seeing signs of here, and I wouldn't be surprised if you'd find a lady that would be astonished about what you've been going through and still struggle about... I know I am, at least. And if she'd like your personality otherwise, I can't see that as being anything else than a good foundation for a lasting relationship.

Being honest is the way to go. Anybody can ask me anything. For some reason people don't ask them things though. Maybe people are scared? I don't know.I'm definitely not comfortable around people. If I could hang around someone on a regular basis then I think things would be alot better. Once we know each other things would be cool. Just need a chance.

Iw2sbs, Everyone here as given you good advice. I think though that you seem to be pretty depressed and suggest that you may want to speak with your doctor or even a phsycologist regarding your situation. In most places in the US (and I am sure Canada and the UK as well) there are services available that can assist you. You just need to stretch youself a little and reach out to them. Folks will reach back. As others have said, that first step you have to take is the hardest. Make some calls to your city, county, or state groups, get some info from your doctor on support groups that are available to you. I am sure they exist. Even google your exact medical condition, you will be surprised what type of support groups you can find. Talk with others who have the same disability you have, they will help you see what you can do. Start with what you have available.
