I passed my Microsoft Certified Professional exam a few weeks ago and now I've been promoted to Technology Specialist. Time to throw a party. BBQ anyone?

Congrats...can I bring a llama? My brother is going for his Cisco or whatever it is next week.
-
In reply to: can I bring a llama? Yep. I'll have a pool of lard waiting for anyone who wants to jump in as well. heheh. My plan is to get my Cisco CCNA and microsoft MCDST next year. I think your bro is headed in the right direction. Good luck to him.
-
Yeah he just turned 18 yesterday...he'd do even better if he'd just lay off the drugs and alcohol, congrats again!
-
shoe box of dildos? Don't forget the "black thunder" dildo!
-
what is your favorite dildo called?
-
good for you! uhhh but isn't that about as valuable as an RCDD i.e. big news before the bubble?I know an RCDD that drives a bus now.
-
Well, the cert does expire in 5 years before I have to retest. But the cisco cert is a lifetime. I'm not familiar with RCDD, but I can tell you that an MCP got me promoted. haha
-
RCDD, Registered Communications Distribution Designer. in my opinion, if you've mever installed a system, how can you know how it is in the field?
-
What?
-
Sorry for sounding so critical. I'm just comparing practical experience to the class-room. I don't mean to diminish the accomplishement!
-
Oooh, haha. I just couldn't understand your post. I have direct work experience. MCP is just paper. The major thing the higher ups care about is what you have on paper. There were 5 of us at work who went for our MCPs. All of us failed at least once and 4 of them have well over 10 years of work experience. The thing about those tests is you have to figure out what the company wants the answer to be. In this case, whatever Microsoft wants the answer to be.
-
exactly! that's just like the RCDD. I spent more years in the field than almost all RCDDs. I simply refuse to take the test. But still, I aknowlage your accomplishments and wish you the best!!
-
Well done you!! Booking flight now for BBQ,- save me a sausage but no chiopolatas!!!
-
Bet you'd take it if it meant you'd get a promotion. lol.
-
I'll save you a great big sausage. How do you like it cooked? Raw, browned, or blackened?
