. I get a boner [all the time]No one says that circumcision completely kills sensitivity. But there's good evedence that it reduces it. As good as it is now, it might be better. (Remember, if you're not circumcised, you have the foreskin to protect the penis when it's in your pants.)> i though something was wrong with himHe probably thought the same of you.

CHEESY WILLY!!!!

You know what, that's probably it. When I can feel it rubbing I keep thinking about how inconvinient it would be to get a boner in the middle of the street... Then it plays on my mind. Thing is, this never happens when I'm with my mates, or at college, because I'm being distracted. It always happens when I'm walking home or something. Even though this isn't a regular thing, it does happen from time to time and is bloody annoying.Anyways dude, thanks for pin-pointing my problem, lol. Hmmm silk boxers eh? I'll invest in a pair when I've moved out haha.

lol yeah they are pretty fancy lol. I wouldnt mind buying a pair I'm sure it feels like youre almost floating along!

In reply to:How does a cut penis still produce smegma? I'm not getting that. Smegma secreting glands are located where? I can't seem to find a site that can tell the exact locations. One says on the under side of the foreskin, another says the coronal ridge, none of them seem to agree on both or either. Smegma is a mixture of several different substances - there are no smegma secreting glands, per se. Smegma is mostly made up of dead skin cells that have come off from the glans and inner foreskin, sweat, oils from the skin of the penis and glans, pheremones (sexual odors), and remenant drops of urine and/or semen that may have gotten under the foreskin. But its mostly dead skin cells and oils. Circumcised guys produce smegma too, because the glans still has dead skin cells that come off, and it still produces sweat, oils, and pheremones. The difference is smegma has no where to accumulate because there is no foreskin and the glans is always exposed to the air. The smegma that is produced gets rubbed off on underwear, etc., and moisture isn't able to accumulate, so its always dry. So with a cut guy, smegma never builds up to a level that is noticeable, although it is produced. The foreskin, by keeping the glans covered all the time, keeps it moist, and keeps the smegma inside, and it usually accumulates behind the ridge of the glans.Smegma is completely natural and normal. It actually serves several useful purposes, including lubrication, and has anti-bacterial qualities to help reduce infection. Uncut human males aren't the only ones who produce smegma: all women also produce it, under the clitoral hood, and almost all mammals also produce it. For good hygiene, it should be washed away periodically to keep it fresh and reduce odor. But you shouldn't freak out if you see it everyday - there's nothing wrong with it.

In reply to: there are no smegma secreting glands, per se Oh ok, because I was trying to learn more about it, so I did some googling. I came across a picture that showed some glands, well a picture of said glands.

Interesting article. Well if there are indeed tiny glands in the forskin, then circumcised males still have a part of that inner forskin from just behind the glans up to the circumcision scar on the shaft.
-
That article is interesting, but not completely factually correct. The diagram on that article calls them "smegma producing glands", but the article only calls them smegma producing "prominences" which is more accurate. Because smegma is made up of several different ingredients, and there isn't any single gland that produces the complex substance that is smegma. The glans (head) sheds its skin regularly - that's one ingredient of smegma. The inner foreskin has sebaceous glands that secrete oils - that's another ingredient of smegma. All of the skin cells including the glans and inner foreskin secrete sweat and some oils - that's yet another ingredient of smegma. But there isn't a gland that secretes all of these ingredients at the same time to make smegma.

I have talked to a few freinds about this and they say they have never gotten any. Is this possiable or is it most likly they are lying or never notice (the two are brothers so it could be a family thing)
-
It is possible they didn't notice any. Some guys hardly produce any smegma, and some produce tons of the stuff. If your friends don't produce much smegma, and they are cleaning under their foreskin in the shower everyday, they probably would never notice any.

sometimes my friend goes for quite a while without washing when hes staying over at my house or if we go camping or somthing like that.
