I am really concerned about my friend. Well we hang around in a massive group at school. She is 13. It started a while ago where she said shes gone into sex shops. A few weeks later she said she bought a dildo. Today, she told us that she had a threesome (all girls) and it was great and funny and, has had 6 way cyber sex and has had an orgy. We have no problem with her having it, or being sexually curious, however we all do think she is lying and we think it is wrong to tell us about it in a jokey sort of way and sort of 'boast' about it and rave about it. In recess, she then suggested we play X-rated truth or dare. She wanted to answer sex-related questions. We are seriously worried about her. She seems to be talking about sex more and more and we think its a bit over the top and some things you should keep to yourself. She even told us that in a science lesson she only went to the toilet to masturbate. QWe all think that she is distressed and covering up something and is unhappy. Have you got any suggestions why else she would do this? Maybe I repeat, we have no problem with her being sexually curious or her sexuality, but its getting a bit extreme.

There are lots of possibilities. However, one possibility that you need to be aware of is that she may be being sexually abused. It's not by any means certain that she is, but you should bear the possibility in mind. It would be good if a female friend could talk to her alone and have a heart-to-heart.There are so many other possible causes. She may have tried to do something sexual with someone and had a stinging rebuff. She may just want attention and have discovered this is a good way to get it.

Raped, Molested, Seeking attention, are all possibilities in this. I agree with Ineligible on this one. Give her a heart to heart and find out the details. For a 13 year old this is a serious problem. Something that comes to mind is that she may feel that she is unattractive and feels that acting this way will get boys to notice her and desire her (I know it falls under the attention problem). You may wan't to involve an adult in the situation if things proceed this way after discussing the problem with her. The reason I brought up rape and molestation is that she jokes about it, which is almost a sure sign of a cover up for these actions. Find out the truth and get her help, before she does something really stupid.
