Im just preparing for the worse... I used not to.. But the worse always came..

That was a bit odd

You need to consult someone. Tell them you've been looking up symptoms you have and they match that of having bi-polar disorder.
Amanda, don't you think it's odd that he's been having this dramatic ups and downs for as long as he has?
-
Bipolar isn't so clear cut to diagnose even by a specialist. Dramatic ups and downs can be symptoms of manic depression even...it doesn't mean someone is necessarily bipolar. Nobody on here can diagnose bipolar.
-
Manic Depression is Bi-Polar from what I got out of the reading.
-
Sorry....depression from biploar. Anyways like I said before he needs to seek professional help. We can't diagnose something, especially that, on here.
-
I agree. I'm not diagnosing, but I am pointing out that it is a possibility and that he should consult someone bout it. right?
-
-
In other words, you need to go talk to someone about it.
-
You can certainly still drive if you have bipolar, FaBMX. The same is true if it's depression.

Just a question... Do you have EXTREME highs? and Extreme lows? If you are bipolar, there is NO inbetween at all. There's not a happy medium... Just REally really happy and really depressed... Make sure to be completely honest with the psychiatrist though. And if you are bi-polar, the medication with level you out to where you're at a good medium... But you can't stop taking your meds. Alot of Bi-polar people are left untreated because they get prescribed to meds, and decide they like having the extreme "highs" and they end up very suicidal from lack of medication. The brain is so complicated. But depression can branch off from certain events... Clinical depression is a chemical inbalance in the brain though.
