I know this has been addressed lots of times and all, and I know it's like penis acne kinda..and I wasn't sure if it comes with puberty...but I never really could find out if it ever went away or not through any of the posts..So I'll just ask 2 questions I've been lingering on for awhile about PPP.1.) Does it ever go away?2.) Is it a virus? Infection? STD?? How exactly did I get it?

PPP on the head of my penis. Does it ever go away?
-
1.) They can go away by themselves, but they will usually reappear later. There's nothing you can do to make them disappear or prevent them from coming back.2.) They are not a virus, they are not an infection, and they are not an STD. Doctors aren't completely sure what causes them, but they do know they are 100% normal, common, and harmless. They generally only appear in uncut guys, so it is believed there is some sort of skin interaction between the foreskin and the ridge of the glans, possibly from moisture. They are basically just skin growths on the glans, called skin tags.

I figured it could have been from not scrubbing the glans..but I dunno. I'm glad to hear they are like skin tags..because I know what those are, heh. Thanks a lot.

i think focus might be right for some people. I never had these before either. THey only started appearing after i started masturbating really rough and several times a day. THe most I've gone is 3x in a row and my urethra was burning afterwards haha. Also had some chaffing.

Wow, that's a relief. I recently had the same thing appear. I was going to see a doctor about it, but have no insurance. They circle a good portion of the head. There's only one that you can actually see, on the underside. The rest aren't visible, but you can feel them. Kind of like free texture for intercourse.

My ppp went away when I had sex and got a yeast infection, im not sure why it did tho but I’m glad it happened days before hand I had ppp like any normal day but days after the yeast infection I notice it going away no treatments or anything (can’t afford any) I wonder if this works for anybody else???

I think such questions should be asked the doctor. There is nothing shameful about this
