I take my Isuzu Stylus offroad. hehehe. It was used as a rally car in Japan back in '92. It's a rare car though and I doubt you'll find one to buy, unless you go to the junkyard, you might find one and if your lucky then two.

The best Rally cars are....
Peugeot 206
Subaru Impretza 2Litre Turbo WRX
Mitsubishi Evo VIII ( Especially FQ-330)You can pick up an old Impretza for under that amount easily. For your cash you get a awesome 2 litre turbo engine which kicks out about 270bhp, 4WD, and will stick to the road like glue. It'll do 0-60 in under 5 seconds and go on to do a limited 150mph.
The Evo is very much a souped up lancer i think...
http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/evolution/Peugeot 206's have been sucessful at rallys but the road version is only 2WD.
The focus is a good Rally car, the closest road version is the Focus RS.
Your best bets are like i Said either the Impretza WRX
http://www.subaru.co.uk/index2.htmThe older impretzas are more agressive looking imo.
Both of these are almost identical to the actual rally cars and noone will touch you if your in 1 :P
(Might of not noticed but i love my motors :P)
